Yeah I bet there is waaaaay more than just 300 people playing it on 360. That number seems incredibly low. You must be talking about the PS3 in the OP.

He never mentioned whether it was for the 360, PS3, or both... why assume it's 360 only and attack another console for it? Besides he said 300+ don't start freaking out just yet.

Maybe because PS3 lets you play online for free. You'd get more people on there.

more people buy 360s and get live so chances are you'd actually find more on 360.

no ps3 you see about 300-400 at once 360 is about 600-700 360 rape it! lol the mk dc rooms for 360 have about 4-6 rooms 100% full most the time in mid day

The 360 has grossly outsold the ps3. I'd be amazed if the ps3 had a higher number of players.

for the record, mkd had over 178,000 different xbox tags play the game online over the span of 2 yrs.

I play MK vs DC on the PS3. With that said and what red just said... only the servers know that actual numbers. When I said this game has set a record... it was because the numbers I gave were the numbers I saw when I was online.

Granted, PS3 is free... so shit, hell yeah I'll play it online for free (despite the server as of late, though it has improved). The PS3 controller in my opinion is more 'acceptable' for a fighting game... rather than the 360 controller, but hey, that's just me. I'm definitely a Sony guy and always will be.

I could play MK vs DC online for the 360, because I have both consoles... but again, the controls. I'm afraid I'd break the fucker.

Anyway, the numbers I gave were from when I was online and what I saw.

BOTTOM LINE: This game definitely has more activitly (at least, on the ps3 side of things) than ever before.

My online community friends are worth 60 bucks, some play on 360 and some play on PS3, regardless of how many people bought the game, there is more people on PS3 than 360 on their server...
there is no win here, fact is more people play on PS3, your friend must be a fanboy claiming 800 people would actually play a game like MK online...

I didn't say you started the war, don't tell me what pills to take. I said the fan-boys have found and clamped to this topic, and now it's going to be a constant console war.

Personally I wish the PS3 had won this generation. I much prefer Sony to Microsoft. All I pointed out was how much better the 360 has been doing at market.

And keep in mind that this thread was made (regardless of which console) because of how many more people there are online.

All I stated in my first post was that the game is popular online because of better network connections due to improved modern day technology for the home consoles (compared to the last-gen consoles) and PS3's free online deal. I don't see how that sides with one or attacks another... just stating the obvious reasons for the amount of players online.
