Ok now that we have seen his bio or trading card...w.e it is we know some about him. I have seen people say that why should they bring back Lui if he just died. I TOTALLY agree with that but. In his bio it says that while his spirit/soul or w.e is in Heaven his body still kills people. So maybe Lui is really this Ghostly spirit but you can still play as him in his body form.
But when you say why bring him back if he is dead you rpobably mean playing as him and i agree. So basically his alt. has to be his ghostly form and his original will be his body.

Personally, I don't think we are getting the ghost one. A ghost is a spirit, and isn't actually the body, but we know he is back in his body. I think the one we saw is his classic alt and his normal may be the zombie one.

I actually agree, even though originally I hated the fact that he was back. Then when I saw him looking normal I thought it was cool. Even though I don't like Lui, I do think he deserves his shot with the new engine. I guess it was kinda beat that they killed him when they brought in the three style system, cause he could have totally owned in it with his already awesome arsenel of attacks.

It sounds almost like there might be two Liu Kangs. Kind of like Ryu and Evil Ryu in the SF games. I doubt this is the case, but you never now. Atleast not until Oct. 4.

I doubt there'd be two Liu Kangs. If there are then that would suck. Maybe his alternate costume is him in a spirit form (hopefully not looking too cheesy). Maybe they'll just make him a little see-through. THAT would be cool you know. But it'd suck at the same time cuz people would be able to hit him and he's a ghost =/

Calling him Lui Kang is like saying Shoa Khan or Shagn Tsnug.
To answer your thread, I think that Liu Kang will have 3 costumes; one spirit, one undead and one reborn (the one we've seen).

well this is my theory i believe since i saw the intro where raiden releases his godly essence to stall tha dragon king killing shang tsung and maybe himself i believe liu kangs soul entered raidens body in an attempt to stop his body form so really we have raidens body with liu kangs soul

Anyways, when we first got wind of King Kang, we were told about his 2 forms(Undead/Spirit), and now with what they've done with Noob Smoke, would that mean another double character? Two teams of similar characters, one solid(Undead Liu, and Noob), one not so solid(Spirit Kang, and Smoke).
About his not being solid, they could do what they did with MKII Jade, and have projectiles go through him. This is only an idea.

I certainly don't have appreciation for any other language than American... like "nyugen" for example is pronounced "win" which I think is incredibly retarded...but never the less, it's spelled Liu and people spelling it Lui IS annoying
