i was wondering about that myself, but remember in mk 2 at the last stage or so when u fight kintaro. lvls like khan's arena or something. anyways, khan is sitting in his chair and to the right and left of him are the imprisoned kano and sonya. correct me if i'm wrong but they weren't playable in mk 2. maybe its different this time around...

We do not know for certain if that is Jade in that pic. It may be Tanya. If it is Jade, then the others could possibly be playable.

Who knows, but it's Tanya in her alternate costume fighting Kabal, not Jade.

NAW look at Tanya’s mini look she clearly has lighter skin... it’s jade!!! We will have to unlock her into the game... probably our konquest character will release the lot at once... after fulfilling a Hugh task... I hear there r 13 to be unlocked so far it looks like it will be those 4 and kitana I wonder who the others will be??

I think that if those characters in prison, had different costumes than I would think that they could be secret character, but since they are wearing the same clothes, I can say that I am 50% sure that they might not be.

In UMK3, Cyrax was in the sand but yet you could fight him and play as him.

Tanya and the green chick do look somewhat different imo. And who's to say that those people in the jail cell will stay the same. Jade might not even be one when the game is finished.

I also think it is stupid to give the color green to Tanya when Tanya clearly has a color, and it's not Jade's color. It's true Li Mei has colors of others, but she also never had her own color, except for purple because Mileena has been pink since UMK3.

It's just too open right now to sound so sure, unless you have solid proof that you're not telling?

where can i find a pic of the characters in prison? sorry, i'm sure this is old i have been out for a while.

I think its stupid because I like the feature where they can hit u or choke u or w/e and hurt u because theres a yellow light by there cells
So faar red=death
yellow= little damage
green=good/stage weapon

So if there all out of prison the yello lights will be gone and its a cool feature I think they should stay in there I don;t like any of them anyhow except fujin.

I think Tayna and Jade should just be scraped i never liked these two characters. i think Kitana and Mileena should stay though.

My gut feeling is that that pic is Tanya, not Jade (the 1 fighting Kabal).

However, Because of the simple fact that Kabal appears as he did in MK3 I think it is possible now that Jarek and Fujin at least, could be playable afterall. Still, if that turns out to be right then maybe that pic really is Jade.

I am just speculating here like most.

Solid proof? For me, yes (confirmation of a insider), but for the other people... you can trust me or not, it's your decision.

i think that everytime u bust open a new cell u have unlocked that person to play as!
