I love Hotaru's Fatality. It's easily one of my favourites.

I think Hotaru will be one of my new favorites too, plus I like his outfit and his 2nd alt too.

He already has 1 thing in his favor, pi gua. If that fire ball has the same blocking characteristics that Hellfire had in DA, there is your #1 tier character.

Right on RS! I think the low fireball - Pi Gua will probably be even better than with hell fire in DA cuz Hotaru's launches them towards you.

I'm not so much into character appearance, although granted I won't play a game that looks like crap. However, gameplay wise, I've seen some pretty sick juggles with Hotaru, and for that I look forward to playing as him.
I don't think he'll be the most playable character in the game, due to his juggle combo style, but definately worthy of a runner up trophy for neat gameplay.

IMO, Hotaru is the best new addition to MK. He's already got seniority in my mind by the way he looks and his purpose.

yeah i think hutaru is a great character looks very intresting. i guess from now on when ever hotaru is in the game havik would be his counter part. the only part i dislike about hotarus armor are the shin pads dont know why for some reason it reminds me of gundam wing or transformers it looks lik its all big and wide near the ankle but i still think hes cool the flags are a nice addition.

So far, I think Hotaru is awesome and from the looks of things, he'll be quite powerful. I have a strong feeling that he'll end up being one of my favorite new characters in this game.
