like i said, down and block will stop u from being thrown.(it will also block a low attack at the same time)

just ducking the throw will avoid it, or u can use a sweep as sugested.
now that we know it is just an attack like any other, we need not fear it or call it cheap.
just block it, avoid it, counter it, or if possible break it.

Throws in Deception are so powerful a technique , that if someone chooses to abuse it , that the entire gameplay revolves around it . READ: You spend the whole match playing duck duck goose counter throw like an ostrich with your head in the sand .
Throw is so dire , that any button pushing monkey with no MK experience can easily win matches by using literally nothing but Throws .
Don't get me wrong .
There is a little skill involved in a match of straight up butt ugly 'Alpha Game' duck duck goose throw , they duck , you duck , they try to attack or throw , you try to counter with an attack or throw , but we are still revolving around throw here . Up , down , up , down , sweep , mid strike , throw , uppercut , sweep , midstrike , up , down , throw , uppercut , throw . Bad part is , even though mid attacks / sweeps etc can be used to add a bit more dimension to the ostrich game , you can still be Thrown during your Attacks , Combo's and special moves .
A skilled Kombatant can beat out this trash , Sadly however , there is no way to break up and eliminate the ostrich game other than to stoop down to it . Even then when throws were blockable by holding Back+Block , the match was still easily ruled by the prospect of being thrown , if someone chose to utilize throws as a primary means of 'Winning' .
Most of the kiddies out there were still learning how to go pee on the potty when we were taking this trash you consider game to the curb back in 92 . Amusing to look upon all this mess and to learn after all these years and all these lessons we have taught , that the kiddies still havent gotten no class/game/flavor yet , still looking for that cheezy easy way to win .

Being an old time veteran , this is an old dead horse , beaten to death . A lesson already taught a thousand thousand times . When I was an arcade boss (Traveled to every major arcade from Gameworks LA to Grand Prix Racerama in Davie FL , I was known , welcomed and respected , welcomed for some eye opening good competition , respected for the in depth knowledge of the game that I shared so freely .
After all the examples I and others have given , after all the knowledge I have striven for and shared . You all contunie to disgrace what I and others have taught and passed on . So when you walk away from your day of game feeling hate like you want to break someones fingers in 15 places , instead of enlightened and content . Remember this kids .
It's not whether you win or lose kids , it's how you play the game .

I personally love coming into throw monkeys on xbox live, i tend to get a double flawless and then they leave :)
