Not really into the Soul Calibur series. Plus Yoshimitsu's always been garbage in the series. He's always been upper tier in Tekken. I've only used Talim, Tira, Kilik, and Cassandra.

Right now the only fighter I'm focusing on is Tekken 6. Maybe MK8 but chances are that will be a dissappointment even with a "new fighting engine".

I will be getting it. Hell I've played every SC there was including the original Soul Edge. I will not be surprised if it's shit though. I will be using Ivy, Sophitia, Kilik, and Rapheal at first. Maybe Darth Vader; if he's broken enough.

I just know the Tekken players I play with on a regular basis will be playing it too. Just something to past the time till T6. Anna still looks good. I like her new shoulder move. It comes out so fast. It's far out that it is used as a combo ender on a wall too.

Now am I going to play online? Probably not. Tekken online is just horrid. SC is not going to be better. Sure you could get use to it. I really don't like the experience to be honest. I'm sure it was Dave that said go with offline competition; if available. Offline competition is what I have.

I still like coming around here; and read all the little petty rivalries you guys have. It's pretty funny; but you are all pretty cool still. I'll be around for MK8. That's the only game I know I will have no offline peeps playing. They all think MK is shit except UMK3. I still play MK cause It's fun for me. Always had good memories of playing growing up and online with you guys.

What I don't see is why some people are psyched about online play. It's going to be trash like Tekken, MKA, etc. Pretty much any fighting game is dumb online. Lag will destroy us all.

because regardless of lag, i can play people unlike my friends who dont play video games, or the one who plays stricktly shooters.
SC4 will be fun online. ive been playing SC3 offline, beats Tekken Online.

??! Yoshimitsu was nearly banned from tournament play on SC 1 he was near broken. He was fixed for the DC version and the game was much more balance but he was still upper tier in that one doorknocker > SC 1.

Dave isn't interested because since they stopped doing arcade versions the quality has been vastly reduced.

I like SC3 (until I got to the last boss in the story mode and couldn't beat him...-_-) Don't know if I will be getting it because of that SC3 video I saw with all of those damn glitches in it though. countering while being juggled?... Not even MKA was that bad on glitches.

Yo, I'll tell you this though, after some glitches have been found tell me what they are. If they're bad (SC3 bad) I won't be getting it for sure, but if they're not then I might think about it.

I always been a kelik, astaroth, and Zasalamel fan, So if I do get it I'll be using them. Hmm I might check Dark Vadar while I'm at it.

Like NAKM, my main fighter right now is Tekken 6, so if they come out around the same time I definetly won't be getting it.

Play Dungeons and Dragons. lol. I luv SC. It plays real well, has a block button, great music and great lookinga characters. I guess I have 2 get a PS3.

Look Blud, unless its Tekken6 i wont make noise for T5DR. it sucks online just as much as MKA. its a very fun game, but right now im playing SC3 and 2 offline.

PS3 is just coming out with games, i cant wait for GTA, MGS4, "SC4" KZ2. its going to be a good year, oh and i forgot MK8 haha.

Thanks guys. So right now there aren't any real top bangin' games on PS3. If I get PS3, I want it with a killer game. I don't care too much about GTA because it gets release on 360 too. I like SC series though. I used to play SC3 on my old PS2. I mentioned MKA because I know most of you guys still play it. I have it on the XBOX but I only play on a average 1 or 2 series a week. so maybe getting it on PS3 would give me the zest needed to play it again, who knows?

OR since you guys aren't saying much with respect to games available, I may hold out till end of summer as noted by Devil to get the real shit!

That is what people have said for years. Every time a new Soul Calibur game comes out, people claim it is great. A few months later, folks break it down and it becomes trash and forgotten.

I'd rather play Smush because I know that in reality it is not a fighting game and very shallow but at least it is tested properly and the developers take the game somewhat seriously. Namco doesn't give a crap about SC. Most of the time it ends up being broken because the games are not tested well enough.
