Sounds fishy

I'm pretty sure I faced him too and had the same problem. But he's not the only on, there was one other named Red Beard or something like that. There'a also some chick named Teddyban4yellow with over 2000 wins that does nothing but spam Kitana, shes not lag cheating like the other two jackasses but still shes cheaper than hell.

I play on PS3 and ive seen some people with like 3467 wins and 5 losses and it makes me suspicious.

Cheaters ruin leaderboards, just like in COD WAW the zombie mode. Some people make it too crazy levels all because of that lame glitch.

I told you on the other board you posted on this is a KNOWN glitch. It happens seemingly randomly. In some cases neither player is able to see the screen and can only hear the sounds. I've had this happen several times and they were not people who were using a hack. If its any consolation JVC is actually a pretty good player and you would probably lose.

Trust me if he was going to use a cheat to win he would've used it against me. I beat him in a FT10 and in ranked. Nice guy and doesn't make excuses.



Teddyban4yellow is HORRIBLE. One of the worst players I've encountered. I beat him/her so bad he refused to play me again. There is NOTHING wrong with spamming a move or a character. Its insane to think there is.

That same glitch happened to me early the first week the game was released.

isn't that glitch "test your might related" ... it happened to me once vs. Mr. S. from TKO on Ps3... we just simply got stuck in the building

Why am I not surprised?! If its not some kind of glitch its some spammer. Doing the same move or infinite over and over again? I hate this fu--ing game! I mean, not really. I love the game. But it's other people that ruin the experience for me. For example, OptimusPrimeTime.......FAIL. A while ago i beat him 2 in a row. Fair and square, so he decides to pick Wonder Woman and do the kick kick gotcha girl, kick kick gotcha girl, kick kick gotcha girl until he won. I said no to a rematch and he started flamming me! He then logged a different profile and challenged me and pulled the same shit.

Look, I understand that spamming is part of the game in the first place but i try to fight as fair as possible and enjoy the game to the fullest. i mean, isn't that why we buy games in the first place?! Lol, it doesn't surprise me that some dumb sh-t has to go out of his way to ruin the experience for everyone else.

You know, that glitch wouldn't affect me at all since I'm blind anyway. lol. Seriously though, I've never even heard of such a thing.

I posted this on a couple forums all at the same time to get a little exposure, so I wouldn't have seen your messages. I'm 410-76 on XBL, but yeah, I'm positive he would have beaten me anyways. It's the principle of it, though.

If it's a well-known glitch, it's not a big deal. But I've played almost 600 matches (including player matches) online and I haven't experienced it until I played him, so it's more than just bizarre. I couldn't do anything while I heard the game audio of him kicking my arse left and right until I lost.

Anyway, I'm sure he's a fantastic player, much better than myself. But obviously this is something I wanted to find more information about (for good reasons), which is why I posted this thread.

Thats a different glitch. I've seen it happen with freefall kombat on the gotham roof stage where you end up with one person in the wall. haven't encountered a test your might one but I know metropolis stage is horribly glitch. Lot of weird things happen with camera angles on that stage too.




Wait I'm not understanding this. What is fighting fair? By the sounds of things its just doing moves and/or strategies yoru opponent is able to get around regardless of your opponents skill. The pattern you just described is laughably easy to get out of for me but its obviously difficult for you. So is it not fighting fair if he uses it against me and I rape him for it or does it then become fair? If it is fair against me cuz it doesn't phase me then what logic would make it unfair to do the same thing against you? Its a failing on your part not being able to get around it. When I fail like that I ask somebody else for tips on how to get around it.

I mean really how do you define fighting fair when what is fair to me isn't fair to you? Are you required to leave yourself open by doing bad moves every match to "fight fair"? How many bad moves do you need to do to qualify as a fair match? Can you do all the bad moves at the start of the match to satisfy requirements or are they required to be spread out? If your opponent doesn't take his free hit on your bad move then does it still count towards your fighting fair requirement? if your character has a particular strength such as a fireball lockdown trap for jax or darkseid are you not allowed to use the moves in that trap?

I'm honestly shocked you haven't encountered it. In about 2000 games across both systems I've encountered it a LOT. It may be a coincidence but any time i've had it happen I was hitting a button at the start of the match to get rid of the intro scene then it went dark and froze.

no dude, im saying whatever i did, i couldn't get out of the move. it almost felt as if it were an infinite. the combo was just 2 regular kicks and a gotcha girl but blocking, rolling or even breakers didnt allow me to even move. thats not fighting, its spamming. if you dont know what that is, then look it up. im sure there are plenty of posts on this bullshit.

don't argue with him like that ... he is practically the best player on both consoles ... top 5 i guess to make it fair ... i still gotta get my ass kicked by him. not to mention we don't believe in spamming ... only things that is not acceptable is the flash and superman's infinite and couple of other exceptions
the so called spamming is block-able ... you just gotta block it the right way at the right time forcing your opponent to change his strategy or make him eat it up because of his selection of stupid moves.

This is the only repeat move I've come across that I've not been able to break out of. The combo meter stops the count, but it's seemingly unblockable/unbreakable, and I can't rage out of it.

yep ... that's the best move in the whole game ... lol ... so fucking stupid.
and it is easily breakable

you are probably pressing the wrong direction for breaking out of it ... i usually break it after the fast escape when he does the B3 (back x for ps3).
of course you must have at least half a rage left and press towards when he is popping you up for another around the world.
if that doesn't makes sense I am sure Bor4t can explain it better.

Haven't tried hitting B+block, but all attempts at using F+block haven't worked.

no you misunderstood me ... forward+block and make sure your rage meter is at least half full.

I've been doing that. I press into the direction of the attack along with block. I know how to use breakers. They just don't seem to work with that combo

Sort of. The first part is the infinite the second one he doesn isn't. Infinite can only be started against an airborne opponent. So if you spin on the ground and teleport you can block. Spin has to hit them in the air to become unblockable. Actually if you do a spin on somebody in the air you can let them drop to the ground and they can't block but it won't reset the combo counter. The teleport is what resets it.



Well there are two types of players that use the same move repeatedly. Bad ones who are basically free wins if you get good and great ones who will change it up if you can get around it. I'm in the latter category. I'll spam you all day if you keep getting hit by it or show you're not good enough to get around it. If you do get around it I'll change my style/strat and beat you that way.
