^ you obviously have no clue on how to play this game. please stay out of a Tournament Rules Discussion thread, or any other thread that has to do w/ gameplay.

1st off... BOM sounds better to me, so thats what ima call them fools.

2... yall are missing the point. there is no creativeness w/ the BOM. if one person chooses a BOM, the only logical answer (thus far) is another BOM. Shit will get boring fast as hell if a tournament is only BOMs and neglects the other 95% of the cast.

Use them in casual play. Leave them out of tournaments and competitions as of now.

Just because its very lame haveing to fight a chacter that you cant throw, but
merly attack.

I never had a problem with BO/DAI in MKD because those were some fun matches... but fighting Moloch is just pointless and boring.

Moloch is damn near unbeatable, unless you use a mirror Moloch or get lucky as hell fighting with another character. But I have to tell you... a 4 hit combo that does 41 % is very, very boring to fight. I used him for 1 day, and I can just say.... you get alot of hate from it. I even remember DOOHOO crying about it in the lobby, calling me a counter picking noob and such. But damn.... I was always the one to pick first. But whatever, I just wont use him anymore, because I know how boring he is.

I dont think Sareena and Noob should be banned, just because they are beatable. I fight alot of Sareena/Noob users all of the time, and usually I can stand a very good chance against them.

With Sareena, you can pick Dairou, and while the player is busy throwing daggers, you can TS Drop em. And it usually works to, because it is very difficult to get close to DAI, to attempt that grab.

Noob.... He is even easier to beat then Sarrena !
So just pick a favorite character, and play it safe, and just becareful not to get hit by that 40 % combo. Also use Parrys a little more than you normally do, and be sure to time it right. I say more defense beats Noob.

So I say ban all Boss Characters !

Noob is only as good as people say if you lag as bad as Noobe does.

BTW Dave, I beat him for you like I said I would. It was a short series though, I had to go(3-2). I took him with Jax,Kitana and Sareena. He beat my Reptile and did some laggy BS vs my Sub. His Noob is def one of the best I've faced, regardless of conn.

if i go to stryker pick him then u quikly run to moloch....thats counterpicking. Idiots like make the game boring counterpicking with bosses. If you have the balls to play anyone else ill 10-0 u noob.

Man i was reading this thread and saw some funny shit. Some dood with OC in front of his name said Blaze is the worst fighter? Do you even play this game sir? And i saw my Dawg Sac say something bout noob or sareena?

This whole Boss thing is a bitch,believe me.I have been in series where i am in complete control until they are picked,so i understand the frustration. Having said that,i dont quit if im fighting and somebody picks Moloch. I will just pick blaze or moloch myself.It is the only time that counter picking is acceptable to me.
With that said,and w/o naming names....i played a person who most people think has a really good moloch and blaze and actually flawlessed his moloch with quan chi and won the match.My point is,i think right now the bosses are more of a bitch than they will be later because everybodies still adapting to this game.The bosses are very beatable,just gotta know the strenghts and weaknesses. Noob and Sareena arent even a discussion here so nothing more said there!

After posting all that above,i do think MOB should be banned from w/e tournaments we do becuase if a moloch vs. moloch match is considered high level play,than MK needs to close up shop!That shit is slow and boring.Takes very ,little skill,and isnt even fun to watch.

Ppl seem to always wait for me to choose my person then they like to counter pick it. Honestly though, Goro and Kintaro are nowhere near the level of Sareena and Noob.

Sareena, is probably the hardest person to beat when played right. You can't hardly touch her. >_<

Lol ohh your the guy that i was playing before. Really good games. Your a lot better then dave imo very good. Ill just connect my modem directly to my ps2 instead of using my router. I seem to play fine on my screen except for the occasional transparent character that i cant hit or some glitchy shit. But a lot of have been complaining about my connection so ill just do that from now on.

Dave stop trying to stick up for the boss characters they are gayer and your even gayer because thats the only way you can beat me with knock downs to free unblockables. The characters are just to powerful and it doesnt take any type of strategy to win with them to be honest so just ban them and get it over with.

I can really careless how someone else destroys you with my character son thats something u need to worry about not me. And every character that u used on me got raped bad 25-11 and thats not even counting the other sets. It was 20-3 until you started using blaze and moloch. And ill admit yea the boss characters are hard... But you couldnt beat me with any other character if ur life depended on it even dai. If you would like to prove it you can find me on there and ill show u. And as far as your boss characters its all a matter of time. Just like bo just like dai eventually u will get raped with them as well. The game just came out so u shouldnt get too happy. And if noob is so easy to beat someone with like N/S why dont you do that then? Or is it like N/S and any other character where you require a free grab or free/infinite or combo too actually be good? LMAO Be easy son :) PS: Why does everything have to be free with you why cant you strategy to earn a grab lets earn the grab earning it feels a lot more satisfactory :)

Sareena and noob are both beatable by 97% of the cast. its sindel and Kai that cant compete.

Have you tryed to beat her with the 61 other characters? Actually, Forget Noob, I can beat him easy(sometimes), Sareena is the main one that I cant beat.

Also, I consider Motaro, Shao Kahn, and Sheeva in the same category as Kintaro and Goro.

I dont think this has been mentioned in this thread yet, but all the boss characters (Goro, Kintaro, Moloch, Onaga and Blaze) also take LESS damage than anyone else. Go try out your favorite string on a normal character in practice mode and then try it on a boss. The boss will take less damage. Shao Kahn and Motaro take normal character damage like everyone else.

yeah Shao Khan and Motaro can both be throw and it is possible to juggle them so there is no point in banning them. Also they can't even throw other boss characters so they are weak.


Goro and Kintaro can't be throw and can't be juggle but they doesn't do that much damage, they are immune to some special moves(like scorpion's spear and kira's kiss of death)


Moloch, Onaga and Blaze are a joke, not only they can't be throw or juggle but they are immune to special moves that even Kintaro and Goro are not immune to. For example Sub-Zero can freeze Kintaro but it is impossible to freeze Moloch. No doubt the MOB have to be ban.

Yeah, this isn't even an argument anymore unless you don't know how to play MKA. MOB will be banned from any tournament/clan battles and so will KAKs.

There should def be MOB tourneys and KAK tourneys , though.

Actually, Kintaro and Goro take the same amount of damage as the other characters. Go test it.
