In this new IGN video, Raiden seems to have a unique victory pose, do you dudes think that every character has one??

I hope they have their own victory poses! smile since Raiden's victory pose was different from the one in MKDA. I think they are going to have their own victory poses, which I think is really cool. tongue

Yeah, it was just a bunch of, "oh, he kicks the camera, cool!" or "oh, he raises his hands, nice!". BOOOORING!

I hope the camera zooms in while their doing their poses.

Guys, think about this for a second. Yeah, Raiden has a unique pose, but is it so impossible that there might just be a handful of victory poses that all characters use routinely?

You guys must have missed the Scorpion/Sub video, because when Scorp won, he started flaunting his hands as if gloating to a crowd. THAT looks like a generic pose to me. It sure as hell doesn't fit scorpion.

I agree! And I guess it would be cool if the characters clothes got a little dirty and their bodies bruised just like their faces! That way it would be more noticeable, so we wouldn't need the zoom.

I see what you mean Temp. but I thought they were fighting for a square in Chess, so I think he did that because he won the square! I think that Hotaru did the same thing when he won against Sindel in an old video of Chess, But I am not 100%. But you could be right Temp.

Oh I noticed that too, but I guess that's the Chess Kombat victory pose! 'Cause in the end it's written: "player 2 takes the square"
In raiden's video it's not written that. It says just Raiden Wins and the narrator says that!
Also in Baraka's video against the other Baraka, He does the same victory pose as Scorpion and it says on the screen: "player 2 takes the square"
That's why I think that's a Chess Kombat victory pose!

Raiden's one looks really cool. I've been hoping for the return of character unique victory poses for a long time. I really can't wait for Nightwolf to do this in 3D.

Li Mei has also been seen doing the 'gloating to the crowd' pose in early MK Chess footage. I guess it could be a winpose used only in the chess mode (by all characters), but that would be pretty dumb, IMO. But on the other hand, I'd rather have that, than having all characters sharing winposes in all modes....

if sub-zero doesn't have his classic raised arm pose I'd have him do the pose on his posters holding a ball of ice in his hand.

Victory Poses:

Sub-Zero: He could make an ice ball and stand there, ready to throw it.

Or, we could have him freeze the camera and shatter the screen.

Or he could use use the opponent as a surfboard like in MKDA. That could be an alternate finisher or end to the match.

Raiden: I'd like his classic pose to return, but after he shoots lightning into the air, a thunder cloud could appear and lightning can strike the ground and maybe even hit the opponent as Raiden poses.

Scorpion: He should rip off his mask and hold it up revealing his skull head! And maybe set it on fire too.

Yet kicking the screen was a great pose! It's called imagination Siduu. I think it'd be nice to see and people have liked that idea of mine in the past.
