This has been said before but I will say it again. The video did a wonderful job of showing the potential in this game. We only had ground work in mkd but mka has opened up a ton of new combos and air glitch cancels. It is shocking to see it for the first time and after a few combos I felt like I should re-think mkd and mkda to see if we missed anything.

As entertaining as the turn by turn worms armageddon argument is turning out, I would like to contribute some thought.

First of all, if you have a problem with someone...do a PM or email but don't throw the laundry on mainstreet for everyone to see. People open a thread by it's title. If i see "MKA video thread" it shouldn't turn into "bob hates jimmy and here's why thread".

As valid as the points may seem it's ridiculous to just trade off gun fire when it will almost never do anything other than temporary damage...if that. Start a war somewhere else.

take yourmedicine - I agree with you on the points of interest. Like check and nukes i make video game videos as well. i went to college and earned a degree in cinematography and this helped give me some practice. I don't have the best equipment but i respect standard cut editing. The content is what is important. being out-of-sync or grainy or any other discrepancy is something we should excuse because NO ONE IS GETTING PAID HERE TO MAKE THESE VIDEOS!

check - Everyone has a hobby or several things that they are good at or like to do. your's obviously is mortal kombat and possible other games. I admire how quickly you were able to find this combos, glitches, etc...but don't let some joe online make or break your day.

Nukes and i have done other vids and if they were popular they usually are old news after 24 hours. At school they told us about how we should be careful about getting so attached to a project. you can pour your heart and soul into a piece of art like a movie.. and then stand before the cinema administration and get burned. I have been criticized several times at college on all of my projects. It was kinda like a boot camp where everything you do they say is no good. But they want you to be able to accept criticism and learn from it, without staying mad too long.

I know that you worked night and day on these videos check, but that doesn't mean that every mortal kombat fan will like it and email you or post gratification. One of my videos took months to make and it's thread died practically over night. At first it made me mad but I had to be understanding of the audience here.

people will type whatever just to start things here. My advice, ignore it or do a PM. Anything else seems irrelevant.
Dragon points might be nice but even if you don't get them...we'll so what. It's not like they mean anything.

Check if you want more appreciation I would suggest only putting the videos out where the fan base is deserving and motivated. If it's not mko then so be it. But don't feel bad if only a few people respond positively.

CHECK: Hey, bud!! Sorry I've been away for so long. I am crazy busy here at work fixing a ton of engines before the holidays. I haven't been playing as often as I would like to. But I did watch both of your videos and what can I say?? Unbelievable stuff!!!! I LOVE the air cancel stuff. It opens the doors for SO MANY possibilities. I just created Beatrix Kiddo (from "Kill Bill") last night and I gave her three quick swipes in her sword stance: 4~4~4 (which I called "Hanzo Sword" - you'll know the reference if you've seen the movie). I did a sweet ass combo with her, using your air cancels. I popped the victim up, did the air cancel twice, landed, did 4~4~4, 4~4~4 and then did "pretty kicks", for a total amount of 76%. So nice! I wish I had a way of recording this stuff. But, I write them all down in a notebook I keep of combos. LOL!! The stuff you do is not hard once you get the hang of it, but they are GREAT finds. It reminds me of the days when I used to be known as "SMOMAC" in the arcades when MK3 was out. I had the craziest (NON-HACK) combos for Human Smoke and Ermac. LOL! Miss those days! Then, Tekken 3 and Tag came out and I steered away from MK for quite some time. I barely entertained MK4. I got bored of that one VERY fast! I was talking to NUKES not too long ago and I was telling him how this one guy (Catlord) had the most amazing combos for Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag. He and I used to come up with the most fucked up shit in the arcades. Miss those days, too. Anyways, I just wanted to extend my respect and appreciation to you for all your hard work. Thanks for all the possibilities you have opened up for all of us. While I know that there's the chance that somewhere else in the world, someone who doesn't have access to the internet to post his/her findings may have discovered what you found on their own, you are respected for your videos. my bloodrayne and silent hill MV's took quite a while and had little to no apprecition. The MKSM red kooin guide lasted less than a week and the fataltiy glitch vids for mkd and mksm lasted less than 3 weeks. No matter what, the fan base and popularity just get smaller. Oh well. Years back i was actually setting up to make an SH3 mv for storyline. I have all the caps and burned them but the idea is way back on the backburner.

NUKES: The TV is AMAZING!! MKA looks out of this f&$@ing world!! Plus, with the 6.0 surround sound I have, it's incredible. I just got an HD DVD player and the movies look phenomenal on this screen. My girlfriend is in heaven when she watches her Pixar movies! LOL!! I don't think I'll EVER go the the movie theaters again unless a bunch of us get together (like we usually do) and hit up a movie.
