Hey y'all. I've gotten some PMs and have seen a few posts about all the confusion with a few hot topics in Konquest mode, and so I thought I'd help y'all out.

I went through Konquest one time, and missed the White Lotus Headband and a few other things like a lot of y'all. So I made a new profile, and went through it again, doing (I think / hope) every mission I could.

Kintaro:
A good thing to do is after you finish the EarthRealm village, and actually head into the rest of EarthRealm, is to save. This is a good way to see Kintaro. Through trying it a few times, I have noticed that Kintaro seems to ONLY appear when you first open the Treasure Chest in the woods in B - 6 (earthrealm). That's why it is good to save, because if you miss him the first time, or don't get close enough to him, or just want to try different things (i.e., talking to him, punching him), you can keep Quiting, Loading and opening that chest to see him. Anyways, when you open the chest, you will be facing South (I think) and he will walk out from behind a tree and then POOF into a cloud of smoke. I tried to do a few things to him, like talking or punching, and had no luck, so I moved on.

Shen, Wen, and White Lotus Headband:
(Note: To do this set of "missions" you must not have gotten Imprisoned by Hotaru yet, i.e., no old Shujinko, and definetly have not finished Konquest yet)
There seems to be a lot of confusion about this. On my new profile, way before finishing Konquest, I found Shen at the entrance to the little hut that's on the water in E - 4. Once you talk to him, he will tell you to speak to Wen who lives nearby in D - 4. When talking to Wen, he will say something like "Come back when you have had more training and you can represent the Shaolin and the White Lotus in the Mortal Kombat tournament." Here's how I did that: In the Konquest storyline, when you return to EarthRealm and you have just trained with Nightwolf, THAT is the time to go back to Shen and Wen. Wen will say, it's too late to enter the tournament because Liu Kang is representing them, but he will give you a White Lotus Headband anyways. He will tell you to go rid the EarthRealm of "Beast Men." What he means is head towards the portal and you will encounter a fight with a Baraka person. Then go back to Shen or Wen and tell them you fought and defeated them.

This kind of ends it, but you do NEED the White Lotus Headband if you want to do the next two things I type next.

Kung Lao, Kai and Raiden's Staff:
(Note: To do this you must have the White Lotus Headband and you must have completed Konquest)
Once you have beaten Konquest, go back to EarthRealm in C - 7 to the Temple and walk up to the ramp. Kung Lao will be there and think you are an assassin. It goes to a fight. Not really a fight, you just have to do a 10 - Hit combo while he stands there. After that he will tell you that all the Shaolin and the White Lotus have been murdered and that he and Kai are all that's left. He tells you to go to OutWorld to find Kai to get Raiden's staff. Head to OutWorld and head to the Ice Caves. Kai is in there and he gives you Raiden's Staff to bring back to Kung Lao. Now, when you bring it back to Kung Lao, he will tell you something like "The time is now for action. You must strike a fatal blow to Shao Kahn!"

So far, no one knows how to this / if it can be done. I still have Raiden's staff and I have gone up to Shao Kahn in OutWorld, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has anymore info on this Mission, please respond to this post or PM me because I'm really curious and lost.

Sindel's Ring:
(NOTE: It is unclear why the ring appears for some and not for others.)
If the mission decides to work for you, Sindel's Ring can be found behind a rock in Edenia in H - 3.

Tanya's Map:
On my first Profile, when I found Tanya in Outworld, I went and found the cave to get the Cave Map, then went straight back to her (where you get the mission) and gave it to her. On my second Profile, I instead, after talking to Tanya, found Liu Kang in the bid walled city, who said something like "Yes, I am Liu Kang" and then he gave me some red Koins. The Tanya who I got the mission from in A - 6 (I think. Definetly on the Left of the map, not the Tanya near the portal that you fight) was no longer there and I was stuck with the map. My conclusion is that there are 2 different ways to go about this mission. One is finding the cave and giving the map to Tanya, the other is if you talk to Liu Kang, I assume Shujinko tells him of Tanya's plot and Tanya will no longer be able to appear to take the map.

3 Swords:
There seems to be some mixing up between the 3 different sword missions. Here's the info:

Ashrah's Sword: In Edenia, Ashrah will ask you to find her sword in the NetherRealm. This sword is found somewhere in the wastelands of the NetherRealm (coordinates would be great from anyone who remembers). Bring it back to her in Edenia and she'll give you a reward.

Blessed Sword: In Edenia, a villager on one of the main streets in the small town will tell you he would like to have his sword blessed by Queen Sindel. He will give you a sword, and you just have to take it to Sindel in her little castle in C - 6 and talk to her. She will bless the sword, and then you just have to take it back to the villager to get your reward.

Cursed Sword: In the NetherRealm, meditate near Jarek in A - 8 until you see a robed guy walking around that area. He will give you a Cursed sword and he want you to take it to a Sorcerer to "fix." Take the sword to a nearby hut in A - 6, and a guy with a red robe and a staff will un-curse the sword. Bring it back to the robed guy in A - 8 and he'll give you 500 Platinum Koins.
