to get Liu Kang:

Beat the game.
Go to Jades tent in Edenia. (g-8 I think)
Go behind the tent.
Meditate until 12am Friday.
Open the Chest
Use the key in the Krypt
Go to Kombat.
Play as him.

I like to help everyone out and stuff, but it seems I need some help now. In Outworld, I talked to some guy near the walled city and he said he was mad at someone named Braan and wanted me to find him to tell him he wanted to fight. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know where to find Braan? Help would be sooo awesome!

has anyone found fujin's book or returned the scroll from reiko to a soldier in the outworld?
I am pretty sure that I screwed up the latter mission, I was just wondering what happens and what you get

i also got the braan mission, never found him either..

I forget the coordinates, but Fujin's book is in OrderRealm in one of those underground houses. Shouldn't be too hard to find, just keep going around in a circle to each house. Sorry I don't remember the coords. Hope that helps!

gol you can find the guy by one of huts by the river or near its location he's a guy with a hat and a stick in hand. sorry i dont have the right location, but he' is near there.. its close to the docks and mountain area.

If I remember, Braan, I think is somewhere around where Khan is, I think. I DO remember that it didn't take me long to find him. I just like talked to everyone around that general area.

I have done the mission where you give the message to a soldier, all you get is koins. There is another mission where you give a message to a normal guardsmen.

I've already completed konquest and gotten most of the extra characters/backgrounds/etc, etc.

Haha, I spent about 20 hours doing all of that and now I'm hearing about these 9 keys and the headband that I can't get?!!! I beginning to laugh nervously and twitch.

Damn you Boon. Damn you all to hell. If this was your idea to get more mileage out of Konquest, making it so that peeps would have to create a new profile and start all over to get the important shit that they missed the first time round and can't get it by using their original profile, you need a dropkick to the back of the neck.

I fail to see the problem... Konquest mode is, in my opinion, the greatest feature ever present in any MK game. The amount of things that could be hidden (no, not anything other than a mission or chest) is boundless. I have put together a guide documenting all side missions of Konquest mode which I will be revealing to the public soon. It is incomplete, but with threads such as this it will no doubt reach a stage of perfection sooner than it would had.

As for konquest mode items such as the Ninja Star and White Lotus Headband... perhaps we will need to meet the characters that are looking for these items. They could not be programmed into the game without a reason.

I agree, Crow. I think things like Raiden's Staff and the Ninja Star are going to prove to be useful somehow, it has just yet to be discovered. I also think there is going to prove to be some way back into the starting village, so no one ought to have to start profiles over.

Not that starting a profile over can't be fun, I've done Konquest twice already, cause the second time I wanted to write down the whens and wheres of all the different quests.

Braan is in front of a hut near the water, Not in Li Mei's village but near it.

Nonetheless, it still is really bad design if you cant get missed items, forcing you to basically, start EVERYTHING all over again. Though of course, not everything is known about Konquest yet, it may be that items such as the special keys and the headband can be acquired at a later year. If its case 1 and we missed it for good, then that really pisses me off.

Sorry for posing a question out of the blue, but has anyone found out where to 'get more information about the tarkatan attacking earthrealm'?? I have been running all over outworld and can't find anything (this is the second time through just to get the headband). Also, I had a thought but can't verify because I just saved my game to quit: if you give the map to Tanya, does she in fact trap lui kang leaving you the opportunity to get in the tournament (either the MK or the other one the guy at the monestary mentions ... shaolin tournament(?)) I guess you won't get the headband then, but has anyone done that yet? I am kicking myself for going to talk to lui kang and getting some worthless koins, and then saving after that.... doh!

Hes not the first, I found the ring no problem and I dont have raidens staff or the white lotus head band. By the way every1 was talking I thought something great would happen when you found it, but no Kitana just blabs about how she must return to Outworld. Why can't anyone find it, I just walked around and found it w/in 5 minutes w/out the help of cheats, faqs etc.

I'm starting to suspect there's a time limit on the ring... I could be wrong, been proven wrong with this stuff before, but right now, its the only theory I got that matches the facts. I've done Konquest twice; the first time, I found the ring relatively soon after getting the quest. The second time, I farted around with other stuff before even trying to look for it.

I'm half tempted to do Konquest a third time and go to the ring location immediately after getting the quest, to see what happens... But it's too danged soon after the previous two times to want to put all that work in again... Especially things like the Edenia Scorp fight and the Netherrealm Shang fight... my god were those two fights frustrating nightmares.

That's what I'm starting to think. It must just be there for a little bit and then goes away. Probably stolen by a merchant lol.

wow these tarkatan's are bitches about letting you know their means of attacking earthrealm.. i remember someone (i think kabal in chaos realm) had somthing like a secret passage way into earthrealm.. maybe its not in outworld.. maybe shen is a dumbass.. lets search other realms as well, well at least im about to..

where can I find Shang Tsung in Earthrealm? I've looked hard but can't seem to find him. Also:

1) who do I have to fight to gain the trust of the Lin Kwei clan (subby's clan) and where do I find him? and;

2) How do I get in H4 (earthrealm)? The guards just won't let me pass.

dude You havent got the first komidogu and you are asking on where to find shang tsung SIGH and you got banned before cause i remember that avatar very distinct yet you only have one visit hmm? oh and something just hit me guys, Kitana said bring the ring when u find it to KITANA not back to sindel that can explain why sindel is not there I have yet to get the ring but i write down all my missions and i havent done only bout 5 in the whole game

I found some ninja star thing in the kyrpt and it talks bout how u need the ninja star and when u complete EVERY mission for THAT REALM and orb would appear on each side of the ninja star.

That was very wierd i seen it in the krypt.

By the way off subject, HAs anyone seen MK myths subzero cutscenes BLOOPERS with quan chi LMAO its a must see, quan chi is hilarious.

Who is Braan? Is he the one who you need to give the letter to from Havok? I still cannot find those stupid wrist blades in Netherrealm, has anyone found these yet?
