I'm kind of out of touch with gaming lately, as MK is about the only thing I play anymore. the European version will be PAL formatted and region encoded, so what is needed to play it on an NTSC xbox 360 and NTSC TV?

I don't understand why they won't have a online verifier that admits you are an adult . That way this game can be M rated but for example , you may need a PS3 online account to verify your older ( By registering and submitting certain stuff , if kids somehow registered themselves , it's the parents fault . Parents should register for them . ) than what the game is actually rated . Otherwise if you don't have a certain connection to verify , you will use the default ESRB rating .

People are forgetting that it's Boon and Midway's fault this game is even happening. They knew DC wouldn't go for an M rating but they allowed it anyways and we're the ones being fucked over for it.

Yeah but... We all knew the game was going to be rated TEEN months ago. That's my point. People, like yourself, are making it seem like THIS news is earth shattering.

It's not.

I'm ok with this for two reasons.

1) I've known it was going to rated Teen for months. Not only from using common sense but HEARING it from Ed Boon himself.

And

2) It's not Boons fault. The reason shit has been cut from the original build is, ONCE AGAIN, because of the ESRB. Now, because the ESRB is different all of the world, this is what's leading to the different versions being released.

Does it suck? YES!

Would I love for this game to be M Rated? OF COURSE!

But is this going to not make me buy what seems to be a great fighting game? NOPE.

Mortal Kombat has come a long way and i'm happy the the series IS still alive. Face it, many people were thinking if there was even going to be another Mortal Kombat after Mortal Kombat 4. So be thankful. Keep your head up. While this game may not satisfy your needs....

The next Mortal Kombat certainly will.

And for that we ALL can be thankful.

So people under 18 can't play M rated games? No game developer would like that wink
Besides isn't that too much control wow
