I wouldn't mind, if they don't have some endings the same. Like how Jeraks,Sonyas and Jaxs. I really hated that.

But if i remember correctly, they are very expessive to make, like the MKDA video. I don't remember the price off hand, but it was rediculous amount of money. PM mistersatan, he was the one who posted the price in the MKDA forum.

yes if they spend enough time searching, they will find a graphics artist to HIRE for a descent sum. and that will give us the endings, and give them the money.

There is probably a few people on this forum capable and willing to make FMV's for Mortal Kombat.

As much as I prefer the 2D old Kombat's, I have always fiended for FMV endings. And then they came, and I wasn't impressed. I mean it was cool, but the game itself didn't match what I wanted.

I didn't realize that they cost nearly that much. Are you sure about them being a half a million? And for how many/long?

yes, video endings are really nice compared to just pics and text, you get to understand whats going on more in the video,

besides the text endings never give ya enough time to read them hehe

Oh, I like old school as much as the next, believe me. I just think FMV would add a touch to the Kombatants. Give them some personality. Wouldn't you want to hear Baraka screaming at an angry Kahn?? I just think it gets you even more involved with them.

The price to make that intro is crap! I mean that the MK crew got ripped off. They should just dress people up and just film some endings. I mean heck if MK3 ever starts to shoot, get some of those actors in there. I mean how hard is it to film some scenes on a digital camera? Must be cheaper than what they paid for for the FMV for the intro of MKDA. Also if needs be, pull a n64 MK4 and use in game fighters to do the endings.

If the FMV endings would look anything like the MKDA intro (or the MK4 endings for that matter), then no, I wouldn't want them. Besides, I don't mind the text/picture endings, although they weren't very impressive looking in MKDA. I liked MK2-MK3's more moody, abstract pictures better.

Do other games just have huge budgets, because some games have a huge amount of FMV endings... if worse comes to worse just have in Game graphic endings... like in Halo... later

speakin of the money budget an shit like that, didnt the whole franchise make 2 movies makin lots of money, the first 2 games makin a piss load of money, number 3 number 4 all those oter additions and all the fuckin merchindise they sold. wouldent that be enought to budget some fuckin people to make those type of movies in 1 game.

But some things need to be left to the imagination...

The mystery that surrounded the first 3 games gave them their awesome aura.
