Dan, most moves work. Even though I don't know for sure, most MK:A moves have the same speed. The only difference is whether the move starts with a jab or a pop up; moves that start with a jab are little bit faster than pop ups. I believe that is all there is to it.

I know second stance Shujinko in MK:D, 1,4,4 was very fast and punished a lot of shit even with lag.

Of course most of this stuff doesn't even matter online because the frames are all cut.

yes i held block, i rearranged my buttons and made block 4 for kung lao and did the rest myself.

the way it works is

well, dave pretty much nailed it with the second spin, excellent job dave.

when kung lao is spinning around the second time, it is only safe when he completly turns around the second time, and if you freeze frame, you will see kung lao is facing the camera when i hit him.

you can counter even earlier

i also countered with 1 in mugai ryu ( by accident trying to f1 ) so im not 100% sure if it has to be a fast attack mid or just a move with range. i would say that is true, although dave has said he was able to counter with b4 and f1 in mi zong. unfortunatly i cannot test that by myself, i have to do things that dont require me to move in.

i canceled d1 right into f1, meaning while d1 was recovering, i shared a frame from it, and went right into f1's animation, thats how canceling works

i canceled block right into f1 the same way, if you do it quick enough, you wont see the block being let go, and it will just go right into whatever move you do. you seem to do it alot with kitana ( hold block, right into fan lift ) same exact thing dude.

i used to do it with dave alot when he was dairou, he would throw a fireball, and i would block cancel right into a move.

anyway, sorry for leaving this out, its all about punishing as fast as possible. as long as the move doesnt give block stun, then you can cancel, ( besides being in weapon doesnt induce block stuns )

PS3 sucks...now. In the future that will change. I don't care about the PS3 having superior technology if the games aren't as good. The PS2 was the weakest of the 3, but was arguably the best of the 3(I think it was).

The Wii has already established a solid line of ace titles. Zelda Twilight Princess is considered by many(myself included) to be the best game ever made. Metroid Prime 3, though I have not played it yet, is said to blow the first 2 games(classics) out of the water. Super Paper Mario is a fantastic platformer with funny story and addicting gameplay. The Wii also has great third party support with titles like Godfather, Madden and FIFA . Resident Evil 4, another classic(IT EVEN HAS BLOOD DAVE!), is upgraded on the Wii with motion sensor control.

It's funny you bring up the the 3rd party games having better graphics on the PS3. This is true, yes, but what about the Wii's motion sensor control? Do you know how many reviewers have stated they prefer the Wii just because of that? Madden is a perfect example. It's also not like the Wii is doesn't have beautiful games. Look at Metroid Prime 3.

The PS3 has some sick games coming out, and I am more than likely going to get one, but as of right now I believe the Wii is the better console, especially with Mario Galaxy and Smash on the horizon.

I can choose and pick whoever I want in MK:A. It is not my fault that lag kills my character more than it helps him. I know that you're used to lag because you don't play off-line fighting games but not all of us are. You just take so much pride in calling yourself the "best" in, what is probably, the laggest online fighting game ever made. You know that.

I've played every Tomb Raider game and I enjoyed almost all of them. I could carless about Zelda. I've never played it and I never plan on playing it.

No. For two reasons...

85%+ of the moves off-line are exactly like that in MK:A. What you see players abusing online are not the same moves that players can easily abuse like that off-line (unless you want to lose quickly).

It just means what I've been telling this community for roughly two years now... online is pointless and online tier lists are pointless. I assume all of you live in the west coast and are very close to each other. If one of you played me (I live in the east coast), we probably would be struggling to have playable fights, much less be able to punish Kung Lao's wep. b+3.

MK:A is actually a strict turtling and poking game. If you use moves, such as Kung Lao's b+3 / b+2, Sareena's f,f+1 (or anything else really except the knives), Tanya's aerial fireball, wep. 1,1, etc. etc. etc. as your main offense, you would get fucked in an instant off-line. Most characters will launch + AC's for 50% of your life.

The only reason my Raiden did not beat your Dai in a series is because we never had one. I asked you for Dai vs my middle tiers to see how I would hang, with my main goal to win 1 or 2 with Sub-Zero. I ended up using Raiden for the hell of it and won over and over and over again. There's no doubt in my mind if that were a series I would of won it. No shame, Raiden gives Dai trouble. There's only shame in lying.

You can pick whoever you want in MKA, and you chose to pick a character who's hurt by online. That's your fault homie.

the safeness of a move matters far less than me than its hit speed, if a move can punish most other moves, its more valueable to me than a move that i cant punish shyt with. ....especially online.

I can use anyone I want online. I will not choose a different character for every person / connection I play against / in. You only win because you lag and because your characters can take advantage of lag better than Dairou can. That's all there is to it. You know that is the truth.
