I think he is a fun character, but I think his story has definitely run its course. Hopefully he is the new Dragon King or something.

Reptile is definitely my favorite ninja. He looked especially good in MK4 cuz that way he could wear the ninja costume with no trouble at all.

I like ALL the ninjas to be honest, even though they are pallete swapped they just felt so unique still. Rain is the exeption however, I like purple but he just sucked. Smoke is better off as a cyborg.

The only ninjas that should ALWAYS be in MK is Sub Zero, Scorpion and Reptile naturally.

Reptile is okay, but not the best IMO.

i like reptile the best because he a psycho! hes got a better story than all the other ninjas, scorpions story's running dry, sub-zero just is not kool anymore and all the pallet swipes arent that good besides noob-saboit. reptiles got kool orignal moves and hes quick and strong. but its close between reptile and scorpion in my favorites but reptiles leading and hes only gonna get better with him being the dragon king.

I like Reptile, i always preferred him to the other ninjas. I also like Sub Zero, but aprt frmo that, I cuoldnt give a damn if i never saw another ninja again. Scorpion was just lame, and Ermac, Rain, Chameleon, Smoke, and Especially Noob Siabot were just cheap rip offs of the others. I only like Reptile and Sub Zero out of the ninjas.

I actually like Reptile far more now that he's not a ninja, and he has a lot of potential now. He was OK as a ninja, but not as cool as corpion or Sub Zero. Couldn't give a damn about the others male ninjas, though I like Ermac's new look.

Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are my favorite characters from the MK series. Sub-Zero is my #1 though :)

And I don't like Reptile in his lizard form... his ninja outfit was the best. He should be more human in MKD imo. Like a lizard in a ninja outfit.

scorpion,sub-zero,reptile.ermac and noob saibot are my favourite ninjas but scorpion always will be number1 to me but i think reptile should come back as an ninja because i dont really like his lizard form and for the rest of the ninjas i chose i all ready like thyere forms so they dont have to change

Reptile was one of my favorite characters in MK2 and UMK3, but my interest in him started to fade after they changed up his moves in MK4.

Personally Smoke, Noob, and Drahmin are the classic characters I'd like to see most in MKD. Ermac's looking interesting too.

Why are so many people confused on Reptile yet he's their favorite character. Reptile is NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN A NINJA! The only reason he wore a ninja outfit was because he was the last of his race and was being hunted down for extinction. So naturally he wore a disguise which happened to be a ninja outfit. This does not mean however that just because he chose a ninja outfit that he's a ninja. He never was part of any clan of ninja or ninja related.

Calling Reptile a ninja is like calling Raiden a Samurai because it was his second outfit in MKDA. Or it would be like calling Baraka a ninja if he decided to wear a ninja outfit cuz he wanted to hide from being killed since he's also one of the last of his race.

Not trying to be mean or anything but as a fan of MK since the original and vistiting these boards for years now it just frustrates the hell out me when people still think Reptile is a ninja considering he was never one to begin with. He only wore a ninja mask and outfit as A DISGUISE to prevent himself from being killed. What's so hard to understand about that?

I liked his MKDA costume better than his MK4 one, but I still think they could have made him look more fearsome and vicious. IMO he looked a little too much like an anthropomorphic iguana.

Hopefully he'll kick ass as the Dragon King.

(well maybe Noob was a ninja sense he was part of the brotherhood of shadows but we really don't know for sure)

Your right about Scorpion and Sub-Zero but you forgot Smoke, Cyrax, and Sektor who were in the Lin Kuei with Sub-Zero. But we only saw Smoke as a human ninja while Cyrax and Sextor have only appeared as Cyber-Ninja's.

I never read anything saying that the brotherhood of shadows was an actual ninja clan though. So I don't know but since he never had normal colored skin or face I though he might be a different race or something.

Reptile kiks ass. I hope hes a plyable character in MKD. And i think its freakin awesome that most of the ninjas r returning in MKD. Now all we need is for Midway to confirm Smoke and Rain........
