Ok now im leaning more towards it being Smoke.

Look at his arms. Its the best example. They dont look exacly transparent, more like that they are made up of smoke of some sort of gas.

Think about it guys...smoke is not transparent...water is transparent...im sorry but that can not be smoke!

Truthfully, Smoke looks kind of lame. I was hoping for a better design. In that screenshot you can see that Smoke bleeds red blood. I hope it's replaced by smoke trails in the final version.

Ok it is Smoke... I think. Look at the character select screen. Unless Noob has a slot for each of his costumes, I think the slot right next to Kenshi in this pic is Smoke (The one in the pic).

thats smoke... and thats not a helmet its more of a hat.... hmm.. and the symbol of shadow??? wtf... in all of the mk past games i never seen a symbol on him... its him.. weather you like it or not.. to me he looks better than i thought he would.. hey he beats blaze lol..

Well, let's think about this. We want to believe it's Smoke because:

1. He's made of Smoke.

2. He's glad in grey and black.

3. He was confirmed in Game Informer.

So please, give me one shred of evidence that this is a new character which no one has bothered mentioning yet?

You really think they'd make Noob Saibot's alternate a transparent character? Give me a break.

Whether he looks crappy or not, that's smoke dude. He's probably still not complete.

If the point of these pictures was to show off new characters, why would one brand new one contain Baraka and Noob's alternate.

That is smoke. And I personally love the look. At least he's not a cheap rip off anymore.

I think its smoke because hes see through and i like his new look but the blood has to go... because hes... smoke

Well I do know that in any of the Mortal Kombat games that smoke has appeard in he has never ever belonged to the Brothers of the Shadow clan. And that is defentily the Brothers of the Shadow symbol that is shown on the boot of this character.

Stop whining. Thats is definately Smoke. As stated early with the select screen. It's obvious.

I thnik it's smoke. More like he has abondoned his body and his soul has returned to fight... or something in that order.
But there are two mistakes, kinda. First, he bleeds blood from a body out of umm... smoke. And second, his shadow is the same as Baraka's. Now with his body semi-transparent his shadow would be more pale.

Stop whining...you must have meant stop proving the facts and putting down the rumors!?! Which is not what I am about to do. This is not smoke im sorry, I know the truth hurts I guess when the game is released you will have to face the facts when the energy bar reads another name...im sorry.
