That's a fansite, genius. There is nothing canon about it, and there isn't anything in the main-going MK series that even states that to be the BotS logo.

This character in the initial post is made out of Smoke(get it, Smoke?); he has a grey and black color scheme; multiple sources have informed since march that Smoke is a ethereal smoke ninja, which perfectly matches the character in the pic.

Not to support a person who I don't agree with on the main issue, but the Brotherhood of the shadow logo appears both in MK4 (On Reiko's back) and somewhere in MKM.

Also, the Lin Kuei Logo appears in MKM, Atleast I think it does.

I say it looks like Smoke. Smoke(the matter) can be different depending on the amount of it. So it could like that or not. Also the game is not done, they might make the smoke darker and make him puffing smoke out all over. Either I think it's Smoke and I told everyone he would be a smoke ninja. I knew he wouldn't be just all smoke.

Also, that is definitely not Noob Saibot. If it's not Smoke, then it is a new character but not Noob Saibot. Smoke or whoever that character is on the select screen right next to Kenshi while Noob Saibot is right next to Ermac.

So if that character is not Smoke(which I highly doubt), it's definitely not Noob Saibot.

This is getting really frustrating. Did anybody even bother to compare symbols other than Zentile? It's not the same symbol. The BoH symbol closes at the top, while the symbol on Smoke's boot branches out and curves into two lines.

Yes Sub-Zero does look like Shredder somewhat but that doesn't mean they copied off of him. I have no doubt that the armor is a real Japenese armor of some sort. Also only the helmet looks like Shredder since the face mask doesn't. The whole outfit is unique also and I think it looks awesome.

As for Smoke, my only complaint is the pants. They should change them from looking like some type of cowboy/fruity style.

Hmm my first logon for sometime now and this is what i see. New pics! UNREAL!!

I believe that this character is Smoke, but am quite disappointed in the invisible effect. I think that his body should be more of a misty look rather than clear.

Smoke may be transparent, but it's not clear, nor is it invisible.

But on the other side, i think that an invisible character is great! Unlike MK2 with REptiles invisibility this characters clothing is still visible! I think that the effects would be awesome just seeing clothing move around as if there is a body there. However it may also be a little lame in some respects.

I like the idea of this character, but think there needs a little improvement on the above listed things...

I'm dissapointed that they made smoke look so lame, I was expecting better but....they just can't stop with the damn samurai thing can they, First they make Sub-Zero look like the shredder from TMNT and now this? I hope Smoke's alternate costume is his original cyborg one or else smoke is totally ruined for me.

If anyone says anything else about the logo or the pants, I'll stab them in their sleep. The pants are clearly connected in the backm, so only the sides have wholes, as for the logo, hey maybe Smoke has his own clan. Or if it really is the BoS, then it might explain how he got his new look. I just wish that in the final build, Smoke is actaully smoking out of his clothes, and his red eyes become more dominant. Looking at him from the front, in almost all black clothing, with a grey, smoking body and piercing red eyes would make anybody cry.

I think it's Noob. It's already been said why before, but again that is a 'Brothers of the Shadow' symbol on his boot. If it's not Noob then maybe it's another member we've never seen before, or someone from the past (Reiko??)
The transparent thing looks like a glitch, and there is no smoke surrounding him. I think it's a new alt of Noob - when I 1st saw the pic it reminded me of Noob's alt in MK4. But that symbol just proves it for me..
EDIT - I didn't look at the legs properly before, they look transparent. Now I don't know who it is, if you take the mask off it could look like Quan Chi.

well i Must say that as soon as I saw that pic...i definitely thought it was noob and not smoke...and heres why......the suit he has at first is all black and it looks rubber......the one where he's gettin kicked....but what if he takes the suit off?...maybe hes invisible?....like the suit is all black so it makes him look like he has a body....but if he took it off aka his alt. costume...then maybe he is invisble which i think would be pretty cool...and its a mask sorta like subzero's.....its just a lil altered...u cant see it that good neway from the pick so who knows

Noob has human flesh in his alt costume. He's clearly not invisible. Second, in the pic in my post, Smoke has gray armor on him. And his arms and chest and legs are made of Smoke.

My patience is virtually gone at this point.

You said his chest and legs are made of Smoke, but he is wearing clothes/armour. Why would a Smoke man wear pants and armour?
I didn't read all the posts, so I don't know if you have explained it already - but can u explain why he has the Brothers of the Shadow symbol on his boot?
