Well i think there are no weaponalitites, we have seen some characters use their weapons in the fatalities, but the weapons are used as an isntrument in the fatality they're not the main way to kill the opponent, well in Nightwolf's is, i think some may use their weapons but not all of them.

That doesn't give proof at all. What are you smoking? The use of their weapons just coincides with their normal two Fatalities and Hari Kari.

Nightwolfs axe, Jades Staff and Barakas arm-blades are the respective characters trademarks. It makes sense that they are used in the game. Kira's knives may be something which we are meant to link to her, like we link fans to Kitana. This means nothing, the fatalities are meant to represent a characters fighting style, and if they are identified by what weapons they use, then its not really surprising that they are used in their fatalities.

Maybe one fatality is where they use their weapons, and the other is a normal fatality. Just a theory.

I have to agree with Wanderer here as it's not proof at all. Nightwolf used his tomahawk in one of his Fatalities before and Jade and Barak used their weapons in both of their Fatalities.

No proof at all. They are just sticking to the character's roots. Baraka always uses his blades to finish someone off, along with Jade using her staff to kill people. Those are just their normal fatalities.

MK2- Both of Baraka's fatalities used his blades

UMK3- Both of Jade's fatalities used her staff
