Well Im back on Xbox live but.......

I finally re-purchased MKA and I have finally returned to Xbox live however, I am severly hampered by the DOA4 fighting stick that I am using on my Xbox 360. This stick has less face buttons than the Pelican Real Arcade Stick that I used on my old Xbox. I do not have the ability to throw on command like I did before, nor can I comfortably switch styles back and forth. The spacing on the buttons between the two sticks are vastly different, causing me to pause and think about my next input.

I repeatedly kept pressing the wrong buttons while fighting both Pumpkin King and easytobeat. Needless to say, I lost miserably to both of them :p .
I will eventually buy another old Xbox in order to play the game with my older yet, superior arcade stick. Until then, I am still willing to give it a go back in my home town of Xbox Live. By the way, the game looks vastly superior to the PS2 version while running on Xbox 360

Anyway, yeah man great to have everyone coming back here where it all started. We definitely need to get in some matches sometime, you're a lot of fun.


Nothing new here really, same drama, rivalries etc lol with some new faces here and there.

I would gut it if the stick was mine. My friend let me borrow it. I will instead go out and buy a cheap 360 control pad and take the PCB out of it, re-wire it to my Street Fighter Aniversary stick and call it a day.

malone, i will tell u this now... for the extra 20 bucks, find a doa stick and gut it. the sodder points will be alot easier than trying a regular board from a controller.

Personally, I have no idea how someone can play this game with a joystick...seems incredibly annoying.

The older MK's I can definitely see, but the newers ones I have no idea how some players use a stick over a D-pad personally.

But to each his own, I know some people like playing UMK3/MK2 with a keyboard...that's just ridiculous IMO.

No shit, I could not play with that type of controller at all. I too have big hands. I really really enjoyed the big bulky original xbox controller. No controller has ever been better. So do I really hate the new Xbox360 controllers? Hell fucking yeah, with a passion!

Whine, Whine Whine. Ya know what I used to use? A beat up 360 controller with a broken D-PAD and I made it to #13 on the leaderboard before they reset my ranking 8 times. Now I have a slightly messed up D-pad on a good controller. My point is, you will get used to it, at least you have a good controller with fully functional buttons. On the other hand I can relate with you on the playing online. I have been on a losing streak lately (good thing its my brothers account i'm using [ELB GIRONDON]) and everytime I get near #50 on the leaderboard, I get reset for some strange reason. I am friends with eazytobeat (first time i met him as Ermac92 I fell for his name), but when a I him it is usually 2 wins 5 or 6 loses and I yell f--k into the mic and quit. But I never play a select few people due to their constant using of rigged characters.

Hey dip shit, stop bringing up 2-3 month old coversation threads. You can only do that if you're GOOD at this game. I usualy don't jump on new people ( smile ) but you're doing something really annoying.
