I hated her in MKDA! I still cannot stand her on that game. But, I'm beginning to like her now on MKD. I like her outfits and her story seems like it will be very interesting. I can't wait to play as her.

I didn't like Li Mei in MKDA, but now hearing all the rumors about her for MKD, I'm starting to think that she may have a lot of potential and that she may end up being a great character in the game.

How did you not like her tgrant??

I've always loved Li Mei, she's probably my favorite Mortal Kombat character.

She's my favorite of the female Kombatants. But unlike many, I don't think she's under the Dragon King's control. It's not impossible, but I think her costume is quite ambiguous and it's not really safe to say she's without a doubt a slave for the DK.

To me, it looks more like combat attire, with a beast-like helmet.

I'm giving her one more chance to redeem herself for what I thought was a pitiful role in Deadly Alliance. If she fucks up this game, I don't want to see the bitch back. The same goes for Bo Rai Cho.

Li Mei is another lame rip off character just like frost and that new female raiden. Boon must really be running out of ideas bringing in these poor excuses boon had plenty of time before mkda and these are the fighters he could think of lame.

Although I like Raiden's character better, I think Ashrah's design is a hundred times improved over Raiden's.

I have never really cared for Li Mei. I didnt hate her, but didnt love her. She was just "okay".

I was not impressed with Li Mei. I didn't like playing as her and her story with paper thin. She just seems like cheap T'n'A in MK:DA.

But I'm willing to give her a chance to redeem herself in Deception. Hopefully, she'll be good to play as or at least have a good story.

Really, I felt like she was a wasted character. No, I take that back. She was wasted potential. Even with her J-Lo dress and leather-bondage outfit, she was still an MK character, a slave fighting for her freedom, which was something rather different. However, with no really development after that, I felt like she came across as 2-dimensional and as nothing more than a vessel for horny teens to lust over. I agree that she has to redeem herself in MK:D over a pitiful story direction. As a fighter, I don't think she's bad, neither a bad premise character, either. She just needs substance (but not in the chest area.) Fatality.

I hated Li Mei in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance. I think her story, moves, fatality and ending were very poor. I dont think she deserves to be back.

Dang, a lot of yous dont like Li Mei. While i do admit, at first, i thought she was a rip off of Mileena, but now that ive learned to handle and play with her, shes amazing. I think shes incredible as a fighter but im right with you guys on the story and fatality.

I wouldn't say I hated Li Mei with a passion, but I definatly thought MK could've been a lot better off without her...If you want reasons, they've been stated above...Storyline, moves, blah blah.
But I'm gonna give her a chance in MK:D, she looks to be noticeably faster than the other characters as opposed to being kinda faster. Also I think her new outfit looks pretty badass. And finally, if they give her the "dragon king slave" storyline(looks obvious enough with her outfit...even though it's purple, but hey, even possesed slaves need to stay coordinated), that could have some pretty sweet possibilities. I think the team may redeem themselves if they pull it off right. =)

Lie Mei is a sweetheart. If she ever existed, I would marry her in a heartbeat.

Li Mei is HORRIBLE. She should die and never return. She should be eaten by Mileena.

I admit, I didn't like Li Mei when MKDA first came out, I just thought "filler character". But she's a fun, easy to play character, with lots of good combos. But without the cheapness of that other beginners character, Liu Kang.

I'm very interested to find out if Li Mei is under the Dragon King's command, or if she somehow escaped the fate in her ending. It's possible she did, as Shang's most likely dead, and Quan Chi looks set to sit MKD out, sadly.

A total failure. She was added to MK for sex appeal, but she's nasty looking. REALLY FREAKIN UGLY! WTF? And it looks like she has implants. If you're going to design a woman from the ground up, can't you make her breasts look real? Especially if you're going to make her show them off a LOT. It's like Boon and co. have never seen a woman before. Well if this is the way they think of women, I wouldn't be surprised if they were all virgins.
Her storyline was throwaway, her costumes sucked. A girl wearing pink outfit, cleavage showing. That's creative. A fucking shirt and pants. Oh, and the second costume is a bikini. I wonder how long it took them to come up with that one. The saddest part is that the unused costume sketches in the Krypt were good! What the Hell happened?
She might have some good moves/combos, but I don't remember. That would require playing as her, which would require looking at her.

I hated her in MK:DA. I thought her throw was good but that was as far as I liked her.
I am liking both of her costumes. Her costumes are much more mysterious and interesting than in MK:DA. She looks to have a good story but I think she will be a second-tier character.

I personally think that Li Mei was OK, I guess, even though her "MELONS" distracted me from the battle!!!!
