Pink color scheme, Sais... speaks for itself really. Obviously they scheduled Mileena in for DA and then decided they needed more new characters instead, hence Li Mei. Same thing with Ermac and Kenshi.

I thought the concept of mortal kombat was Outerworld trying to get EarthRealm... why Other realm would get involved? Maybe NetherRealm but the others? The kamidogous was one of the worst concept.
People who should be dropped:
Hotaru - he stinks in all aspect

Tanya - Her story his boring!!!! Serving someone and betray them later.. how many time they will do that?

I think its hard to just disregard these new characters because they haven't been given a chance. I mean I agree that some of them aren't very original (Kobra) but they've only been in one game. Look at Nitara, Drahmin, Stryker, Rain, Sheeva, Hotara, etc. I think they need to be put in at the least another game. MK7 should have Sheeva, Rain, Stryker, Reiko, Jarek, Kai, Fujin, the one timers need to put up or shut up. Everyone has potential, but I think first come first served is the deal. Rain, Stryker, and Sheeva are the only MK character to not be revamped in the 3-D yet even though I don't like Stryker but they deserve a chance. Siedo and Chaosrealm need to be given a chance. Of course it leaves many questions now, but they've only been introduced into MKD. MK7 should focus on classics and get those one timers in.

To the person above who suggested that scorp would kill sub again, dream on dude.. I think many ppl have been thinkin bout who would win, and my guess is that its not going to be scorpion this time.
to those who say that limei is a replacement for mileena, do understand that while mileena has nostalgic value and a nice story, limei isnt that far off either. shes improving and should stay.

Hey.
I was pretty impressed with the roster MKD had, and I liked about 21/24 of the characters.
I Think That Darrius and Shujinko have to be killed or removed from the next MK.
Heres A brief rundown of the characters from MKD and past characters who I feel could break it into the next installment.
Ashrah: Probably one of my favourite new characters, Ashrah oozes so much potential, She HAS to return In MK7, An Absolute Must.
Baraka: Nice to see him In 3D properly (excluding MK:Gold) I was impressed with Baraka and his moves and his story, I like how he ends up brawling with his wife Mileena, I want Him To Stay within MK, hes a fan favourite anyhow.
Dariou: I liked the concept of this character and I liked him to an extent. I wouldn't mind him to return but I doubt it, I would be happy to see him in the opening movie. His return is debatable. (sp?)
Darrius: What an absolute waste of character. He had a disatrous design, choppy special moves and was pretty dull to use within the game. The only two things what I liked about this character was his gauntlet weapons and some of his story, I did like the war between Chaos and Order and the resistance. I would like to see him gone for the next game, maybe he could have been killed in the war between Order and Chaos or maybe he could take a breather and come back after MK7. A definite no for MK7.
Hotaru: This character is quite interesting. The whole story of Chaos and Order should follow through to the next game as should he. He had a very cool design and an intriguing story, which didin't just revolve around Chaos and Order, It also tied in with Sub-Zero and Kenshi. A decent character who should be returning to the next installment.
Havik: Wow! What An incredibly amazing design they did for Havik. His story was not bad, but his ending just notched it up to the maximum. I would love for him to return to wage war with Hotaru, we need him and Hotaru to return, Dariou and Darrius aren't as impressive as these two. A keeper. His ending must come true, minus the fact the Dragon King died, I want Onaga to still be active in the next one, but not the boss or the biggest emphasis.
Jade: I was so glad they placed Jade into this game after years and games of absence. I loved her look, especially her alternate which was a modified version of her MK3 outfit. He staff looked alot better also, and I was impressed with all of her special moves and fatalities. Jade's story has branched out more in Deception and I really hope they enter Jade Into the next MK also. A definite must have.
Liu Kang: After the events of Deadly Alliance, I had neutral feelings on his future. After I had heard of his return, I honestly didn't know what to think. But after unlocking him in Konquest I was impressed with him, I liked his Zombified design and his classic moves all were given a makeover and overall I liked him. I Think That Liu Kang should sit out of the next game but should stick in a few cameo appearances and that but I was impressed with him In Deception.
Kenshi: I really liked this Character in Deadly Alliance, and with his return In Deception I liked him even more. His new design was nice and was just as good as his DA outfit. His story was sent in a new direction and I liked it. But, personally I think that Kenshi should be killed off for the next MK or sit outas I think that they should do overkill with him, unless this unique character will dry out really fast. Let him take a break in the next installment but by all means let him cameo in it here and there.
Bo Rai' Cho: I was completely unimpressed by this character in Deadly Alliance and with him returning for Deception that dislike was slightly lifted. His story has been extended further which I liked but still I think he should be dropped. A no-no for the next MK. Sorry Bo' fans...

Li Mei: I was shocked by her character in Deadly Alliance and with her comeback I was completely esctatic (sp?). I loved the idea for her in DA and I rebelled against all the "Li Mei, Mileena Clone" members, they were all proved wrong in Deception. What we have here is a very tough character who has decent fighting skills apart from they ditched her Baji Quan style, they should bring that back. Her story was most impressive and I have confidence in her that she will return for the next MK. I really hope her ending happens and that she does infact become the bride of Onaga, it will give her character move depth which she is gradually building up. A keeper for MK7.

Kira: A very decent character both in story and in-game. I loved her look, especially her alternate and I hope that her ending is true. I would love to see Kira return.
Kobra: I was impressed with his look and fighting styles as well as his specials but his story dragged the overall character down, he was very plain when placed next to Kabal and Kira. THere are two things in which could breathe life into this character. One of them is to add a twist to his storyline or to send him into a completely different direction. The second one is which I would prefer is to have Kira's ending to come true. Comback? - Hope Not.
Mileena: How impressed was I when I heard she was returning. I have always liked this character and with Deception she became one of my all time favourites. Her look was amazing, her moves and styles - decent and her story just completely put the icing on the cake. A classic character who I have no regrets in saying she is going to be confirmed for the next MK. A total classic!
Nightwolf: Yawn! I never really liked this character in MK3 nor do I really like him now. I agree that it was an idea to bring him back as a nostalgia character but surely Sheeva would have been a character to fill his postiton. His look was average, his moves were okay and his story was bland, but I did like the whole "soul corruption" bit. A sit back for MK7.
Raiden: Wow was I impressed with the intro and Raidens pointless sacrifice. His new look and personality have overpowered me and I love the new Raiden we have now. He must definitely return, he is now a wildcard. His ending just screams his power and his anger. He must return, he must!
Shujinko: I wasn't interested from the start and I am not interested now, I wan't him gone. His look was so genetic (Pai Mei from Kill Bill 2) his moves were very irritating, and his story was the only thing I thought was half-decent. I liked the way he was deiceved into collecting the Kamidogu under the false pretence it was for the Elder Gods, but it was for Onaga really. Raiden's ending HAS to happen. This character's fuse had died and he needs to be dropped. But, I thank Shujinko for Onaga's return but now he really needs to go. An absolute No-No.
Ermac: From where Ermac originally started I am blown away by how much he has evolved. He was a very decent asset to the story and roster of Deception and I think his return would be the right thing to do. Yes.
Sub-Zero: Loved his new look (hated his alternate) and loved his story. He is a Classic and I won't hesistate to say, He Will Be Back in MK7.

Noob-Smoke: The idea was very intriguing, but the outcome was terrible. I would like to see both these characters to return but separate them, give them their own special moves, styles and a weapon and there own stories. Noob Smokes ending has to happen, minus the fact Sub-Zero was killed. Keep the fact that Noob is the original Sub Zero and that he is now the ruler of the netherrealm but remove the part where he and smoke slaughter Sub-Zero. Both should proceed to the next game.

Tanya: What a complete overhaul Tanya recieved. She is now her own character with a menacing storyline, fantastic look and moves and is the real bitch of Mortal Kombat. Keep Tanya for the next game. Such potential.
Sindel: One of my personal favourites who only flawed in this game with two things - the absence of her hair whip and her float moves. Her look, story and other moves all were great and Sindel is an awesome character and I really hope she returns for MK7.
Kabal: Im glad he returned for Deception and I liked his new moves and look. I was dissapointed with his fatalities and the fact we didn't see the man behind the mask, but I like his story and I feel that with a few modifications he can return again. Maybe.
Scorpions: I have never been a huge fan of Scorpion but I like him to an extent. I think he was best in Deception and its his best look yet and Its a certainty he will be back for number 7.
Hey, sorry Im going to finish this post tommorow as Im tired. Tommorow I will add my thoughts on Onaga, characters to return from previous games, A rough MK7 storyline, New characters and some new features MK7 should have, until then. Fatality.

I say Sheeva, Rain, Stryker, Tanya, Jade, Mileena, Sindel, Sektor, Ermac, Khameleon, Chameleon, Frost, Fujin, Hsu Hao, Reiko, Kai, Kabal, Baraka, Nitara, and Cyrax.
The three characters i want most in the game are:
Sheeva i think would be great 3D, i really liked her in 2d world. She was a great character. I think it would be great to see a big return of her. It would be interesting to see in some storyline. Plus it would be awesome to see what her Weapons and moves are. She can use some more moves too. She has a great attire, but for her alternate she can use something new, possible some kind of armor. I think a great weapon for her would be the sword that Shao Kahn stabbed her with, also a sheild to go with it would be good.
Rain hasnt been 3d yet. He could use some more moves. His weapon can be the Goro's Cerimonial Dagger that he said he was going to keep in conquest mode. I think he should have the same purple attire, however his alternate can be unmasked.
Stryker i always found as a good character. I always found him a better character then Johnny Cage. It would be cool to fit him in a storyline. He really needs an alternate attire.
These characters arnt very popular, but do diserve a chance in the 3d world... maybe then they might become popular. I do think a great storyline for each of them will make a different thought on these characters. Hopefully these characters would still have the same moves plus more. And better combo's. Also different alternate attires would be awesome.

The Dairou, Darrius, and Hotaru storyline does have importance. Why?
This is what I think will happen:
Sindel's ending occurs, and she releases Reptile from the Dragon King's possession. However, she cannot kill the Dragon King simply by lancing his heart in his original entombed body. DK reforms in the Nexus through the One Being's power (and sort of like how Raiden's energies regathered in Earthrealm after the sacrifice). The Earth Warriors and Kitana are released and escape, but the DK is still alive and goes to the Nexus. He encounters Scorpion. Bloody hell breaks loose.
In that confusion, Havik rips the heart out of the DK's mortal corpse and uses it. Shao Kahn returns. Havik convinces Shao Kahn to invade Orderrealm, because Darrius has launched his massive rebel attack. Dairou defeats Hotaru in outworld during this time. But the chaos that ensues in Seido while the Seidan Guard and the Rebellion fight allows Kahn to march his forces into Seido, completely taking it over. Kahn returns to power, and begins to merge Outworld with Seido. The DK cannot complete the merging of the Kamidogu as the Seido Kamidogu suddenly loses its powers.
So, basically Havik manipulates Darrius into using the Resistance to distract the Seidan guard, allowing Shao Kahn to enter Seido and claim it. Havik has ulterior motives but Kahn knows better than to trust his underlings.
All hail Kahn.

I don't even want to think about the honeymoon. Li Mei should burn in Hell for all eternity for that. That slutty whore disgusts me. I surely hope her ending does not happen. It does seem very farfetched though imo, so it probably isn't true.

Right well i am an avid black Dragon fan but to be honest i didnt see much potential for the two noobs Kobra and Kira i thought they kind of sucked and if i were going to give them an ending i would say go with Kira offing Kobra and then have Kano return and finish her off. Afterall there is no proof of Kanos deat.h as with deception and DA the endings don't match up an example being Kabals and Haviks as Havik ressurects Shao Kahn in his ending and Kabal kills Havik and steals the heart in his.....it can't be both it is impossible. Therefore i believe Kano could very well still be alive and just biding his time hiding in outworld plotting his next move.........which i hope will be taking over the black dragon. Then we could have Jax, Sonya and Stryker vs Kano and Kabal which would be far superior to that rubbish war that went on between the realm of order and the realm of chaosin Deception.

from deception:
- I would like to see kitana AND mileena in the next mk, but if i had to choose, I would def want Kitana back in...Its bad enough that she isnt in deception
I'd like to see jade and sindel back, also li mei, ermac, scorpion, subzero, liu kang, baraka, raiden, nightwolf, kenshi ,ashrah and tanya(although I hate her storyline)..
- I dont want to see darius, dairou and bo rai cho, kabal, kobra and hotaru
I dont really care if noob smoke, havik, kira and shujinko return

What is everyones problem with Kano he kicks ass especially when on DA all your friends go on about how crap he is and how Sub-Zero is the best...........and then you throw it in their face by kicking all their asses in a row with Kano.

I'm surprised a lot of you dislike Sindel. I can see why though. She's a major disappointment in Deception. In MK3, she had a shit-load of special moves displayed in the most twisted and original ways ever, but in MK6, it seems as if Ed and his team just slapped her into the game and moved on to the other characters. Oh well.
Anyway, I would really like to see her back in MK7 with all her original moves (shriek, breath ball, levitation, mid-air/levitation breath ball, and hair whip) and new ones. Being able to move her around while she flies in 3D would be awesome!
Other than Sindel, I would like to definitely see Sonya, Frost, Jade, Mileena, Ermac (Being a girl, I normally don't play as the boys, but I really like the idea that he's a force created by joint dead warriors), Rain (he's alright too. He would be cool in 3-D), and Kira.
Kill off Bo Rai' Cho, Li Mei, Tanya, and all the other MK6 characters that don't bring anything exciting to Mortal Kombat like Hotaru, Havik, Dariou, and so forth. You know, the NONSENSE characters.
