Should I get it for PS2 or xBox? I'm thinking PS2 since it's controller is really good for fighting games, and the PS2 graphics are still great, regardless what any PS2 haters say. Just not as good as xBox graphics. But xBox's controllers aren't very good for fighting games, but the graphics are better.

Which one do you suggest I get? If you think I should get it for xBox, are there any other reasons other than the graphics that will make it better for xBox?

Btw, I know the game doesn't come out til October, but i'm just trying to decide for what system I should get it.

Yeah, but the xBox pads are harder to reach, which is bad for fighting games since you have to constanlty use it, lol.

from what you've said i would diffinately get it on ps2 and i will because i haven't got a crapbox wink

i would consider the fact that the xbox's whole online system is better than the ps2's, there's been a lot of problems concerning the ps2's online ability, and hasn't really kicked off properly.

in the short term i'd go for xbox, long term it would be ps2 grin
Xbox.

This is coming from someone who has owned NES (5th Birthday, 1st console), Genesis, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, PC, PSone, PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox. I still own the same SNES. lol.

Xbox reminds me of a Sega system.

i'd say xbox all the way not because of the slightly better bump mapping and backround textures but because the xbox imo has better contorllers for a fighting game and the loading times are almost always better on xbox then PS2 don't get me wrong i like both systems but i think anyone who owns both should get the xbox version if they only plan on getting it for one system also i enjoy the not having to have a memory card to save i mean i have never once had to go thru my xbox memory to delete old games to save a new one i used to have to do that all the time on PS2 that or go buy a new memory card so go for xbox

yeah i forgot to touch upon the fact that Xbox Live blows PS2 online out of the water no comparison between the systems when their online i think xbox beats PS2 in almost every aspect of games but even the PS2 fanboys have to admit that the "CrapBox" as one asshole on here put it beats PS2 in the online aspect hands down and MK:D being online the first MK to be online the online gameplay would be a very important thing to consider when buying ths game so go Xbox and be happy

don't be so touchy i was only joking, but that asshole comment has set me off so

ps2 although starting a bit late with the whole online thing is still a better console than the xbox, i don't need to explain why it's been said on numerous websites/programmes/forums grin i don't want to hear another word about it, not even better graphics, a more advanced online system or bill gate's money could make a console better than the giant known as sony, and games for that matter 50% of AAA games out on the xbox are out on ps2.

Well, Since I used to be a basic biased PS2 fanboy, lemme throw out my new and improved *thumbs up commercial style* opinion.
I'd say X-Box, hands down. The graphics I wouldn't say are "better", but cleaner. Also, if you have a controller S it is great for MK. And, you don't need a memory card(not a huge thing, but ya know), and the online play is simply one of a kind. You'll be happy with either system as they are both built amazingly, but I'd say for fighting games, X-Box is a better choice. Happy deciding to ya =)

What Sarcasm said, better enough rent both versions of the game and decide for yourself. you shouldn't depend too much on others opinion. no one knows how the game going play except for those who played an early build of the game at e3. just rent the game and decide which version is right for you. and please people no need to start a console war, like ps2 is awsome and xbox is crap blah blah.prime example...ltodaj2588 wrote earlier in this thread XBOX all the way, the PShit2 can't touch the xbox in anyway. PShit2= PS2... enough of that.

I would get the Xbox version. Graphics are a little better, loading times are MUCH shorter, and saving to the hard drive is faster.

Also, Xbox Live owns PS2 Online. Live is much more organized.

It won't really matter considering that you will fight people on each system with the online function.

I might be wrong on this post but that is what I believe. It would be really lame if you could only fight against people that own the same system you do.

what so lame about it. ms and sony have different online services, even if it possible to have xbox users play ps2.i dont think ms and sony would allow that since there competing aginst each and not to mention from system technical stand point as well since xbox has a higher system spec over the ps2.

Think about which console you play the most, then pick the opposite so it won't feel so neglected. smile

I am getting it on Xbox, simply because nothing can compare to the original Xbox controller. I know its widely hated, but for me its the best yet. I have a PS2 and Gamecube as well, but I still get any game I can on Xbox b/c of the controller, smaller load times, and cleaner graphics.

You can't play across platforms, so maybe the first question should be, which online service do you want to use?? How many PS2/Xbox MK players do you know that would play online etc??

Then maybe go for the other things like graphics/controllers etc....

I'll get it on XBox because:
1. better graphics
2. personally i think the controller is comfotable (Can't stand having 2R's and 2L's)
3. i don't have a ps2...wink

MKD will own on Xbox, but it's pradictable that VG officials will promote the PS2 version of the game (just like they did with Soul Calibur 2)
