heres my idea of a sub boss:i think it should have the body of a dragon and the head of a lion. its weapon should be a steel ax lit on fire and have a poison tip.its fatality should be so that it would run its claws up your body and after all your fluids leak out it eats the carcass and left over organs. its name is melocky.(not the best name i can think of).

This sounds like a great idea! If it's true, then I hope Khameleon is another Sub Boss in the game.

Either that big mutated hampster from the commercial Quizznos or Kintaro or something new all together but if I had to choose I would pick the Quizznos hampster.

I think it would be awsome if they said that the dragon king would need a realy good general and that he would have to be the strongest warrior ever, but unfortunatly that person is dead so the dragon king resurects shao khan to be his right hand man. Since shao khan is like 100 feet tall and and as cloose to a beast as a human can get that he would be a kickass sub boss.

Hopefully a New, Big ,kick-Ass Sub-Boss with a fatality this time. None of the sub- bosses had fataltiy except Goro on MK gold;which were copies of reiko and johnny cage.

they could have 2 sub-bosses like in mk2. one big and one immortal. and if this sub-zero is the evil one he could be a sub-boss. he is supposed to be one of the strongest fighters with the medallion and everything.

I'd want to see something new. I really liked Moloch, he was just too easy though.

I'd like to see Kintaro or another Shokan mostly because it'd be great to see one of them in this 3D environment (not including mk4) And have Shang Tsung as a second sub-boss like in MK2 but not let him be playable without a really expensive koffin open and a button code combination.

And as for Sagat, I'd really love if Midway got permission to barrow a Capcom character or two just once, just once! (I think every fighting game fan would love that!) I'd choose Akuma(Gouki), Vega, and Chun Li.

Kintaro or maybe a Dragon/Dinosaur/Big Reptile of some kind. The spider or the group of DK soldiers ideas sounded neat too. Hope its not Moloch personally.

You know what would be cool? Faceing-off against all/some of the classic sub-bosses of the series in Koquest mode. You'd feel you've earned create-character if you had to beat down Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, and Moloch to finish Konquest mode.

I think it should be Two bad ass chicks you have to fight at the same time, and then like the head general of his army if he has one. As far a sub-zero or reptile being a sub-boss it would be gay because they've been regular characters already. We already know what they're going to do. But yeah just have a match where you fight both chicks at the same time and then the general of his army then the Dragon King.

As someone here suggested an MK2-system might be cool, with a first sub-boss (for ex. Reptile), a second sub-boss and then the DK himself.

The spider and the DK's army are good ideas. I'm a bit hoping for centaurs to return.

And also a Shokan warrior, but as a playable character this time (::shameless plug:: see my MK Legacies :p).

I would like to see a shokan or a centaur.. but not such a crazy hybrid like a man-spider, man-octopus,...
or maybe a general from the dragon king's army.. samurai type guy.. realy big.. dusty.. skeleton.. smelly feet..

Just to let u peeps now i am 95% on who the sub boss is. but first

i would like to say a NEW shokan PLAYABLE character would kick soo much ass.

but i think there is 2 sub bosses, the first is simply baraka, the second i am 95% sure its a new oni. no more shokans, and centaur would kick ass the best, but it is most likly a new ONI considering thats all they talk about now instead fo the shokans. ONI(moloch abd drahmin) are ONIs if u didnt know, if it isnt a new oni which i think it is. then some samerui or somehing from the dragon kings army.

oh yea if u want to see wat the dragon king looks like, OR SHOULD look like its right here, i guve credit to some member on this bord that found it.

NICE PICTURE!! The thing about that which makes it eerie the most is that its so close to being true!

If you REALLY want to see what the Dragon King looks like, simply beat MKDA with Raiden. When he's ruminating on the possibility that the "Dragon King might return", you can see off in the sunset between Nitara and the Oni's, a huge massive character who doesn't look like anyone we know -- pure logic says he IS the Dragon King. But I'm sure you guys know that.

Personally -- I think the sub-boss should be that Army General that Lei Mei's soul was put into. It's obvious she'd be a kick ass fighter -- super strong, with super weapons, and maybe Lei Mei's fighting stances and her moves to remind us that its actually Lei Mei's soul down there.

HOWEVER, based on what Raiden predicted, I feel the sub-boss is probably going to be an Oni, or "a legion of Oni", if you take him exactly.

I think it would be INSANITY NOT to have a shokan as a standard fighter, fighting along side Kitana or something. And me ... well ... I'm still the one who wants to see Shao Kahn return as a standard fighter, fighting up through the ranks of Mortal Kombat to single handedly reclaim his thrown the old fashioned way.

The Sub-Boss won't be Reptile. Reptile's form was already altered in MKDA into the Dragon King.

Perhaps the Sub-Boss will be whatever form Drahmin turns into after falling into that chamber. Who knows. However, I believe the clues are back in MKDA.
