Here is my 2 cents worth.
I love deception, it is what DA should have been. The engine does need some tweaks as people have mentioned prior. The thing that bothers me the most is the dial a combo's. I dont let it bother me to the point that I am going to never play it again.
I am looking at it from this view. Midway is not in the best financial situation right now, I am sure that there were things and tweaks that they wanted to do but couldnt do this time around. It is still one of the better fighters out there and we all know EGM has no love for MK for whatever the reason.
We all have to enjoy it for diffrent reasons, send Midway constructive feedback and let them continue to improve on series we all enjoy for our own reasons.

It stands for back dash cancel. What it does is allow a move that normally has a bad recovery time such as a standing power punch or kick to become safe moves if they are blocked by imediately performing a back dash durring the animation of the move. I haven't seen it yet in MKD but there are some that say it's in there. This was widely abused in MKDA.
