Not really cause I never knew about him in MK1... (probably cause I didn't care a LOT about MK1... I got MK obscessed with MK2

When I first saw Reptile, I was very young. I had heard of him from the first one but never actually saw him in it, so when I saw the third ninja in MK2, I was curious about the feeling of stiffness down in my crotch area. It was at this time I knew that I liked men. Damn you, Reptile, you've made me gay, but your so cute I can't stay mad at you.

ya reptile was cool.....but sexality was better.....as wierd as it is...there is one, i saw someone do it in the arcade when i was like 12 or so, but i can never figure out how they did it...anways...wrong froum

I said earlier to on of my friend: "But one day, we saw Reptile in MK1 !! He was soooo amazing !!! I started to love him and got MK2 only to play him." Ninja Reptile is my fav male character since MK2, along with Kung Lao, Ermac, Rain and Raiden.

I have never fight Reptile in MK1, I was playing the last version that came out at my local arcade and Reptile was not in this version.
In MK2 he was cool, but to me he was a new character

As far as the topic goes...
I was very excited about being able to play Reptile. I was expecting him to have the same moves as he did in MK1, and to my surprise he had his own moves and they were kick ass. He's one of my best characters in the game.

Reptiles dramatic change from boring pallet-swap ninja to amazing half-reptilean half-human monster to prehistoric lizard is the best thing that has ever happened to him.
Honestly, he was amazing in Mk1, I loved him, but when I compare Mk2-Mk3 to Mk4, the classic models (Mk2-Mk3) suck. Boring palletsweap ninja. Just like the other 20 of them.
In Mk4 his change (although not really THAT much) was amazing, I loved his new look.
But In MKDA, he definitely changed for the best. I was hoping to see one of the 3 original ninjas improve.
Reptile was the first.
Sub-Zero, thanks to MKD (and part of MKDA) looks amazing.
Not its time for Scorpion, because his look has gotten really stale for me.

I felt the same way. I remember looking at all their faces in the arcade and then seeing a green ninja. I put cursor on him and when Reptile came up I was shocked. Hell, I remeber the first day when the MK2 machine was put into my local arcade, everyone along with me that got their hands on it yelled out *oh shit, Reptiles in it*. Some were not too happy with his move list though, but I loved the challenge with him. Reptile was always unique with his move list.
I wouldn't mind seeing a ninja/reptile hybird sorta like in MK4 but better. But he has to get his Force Ball back along with his Acid Spit.

Non, I had been absolutely not impressed, I just though "Oh shit, one more ninja, this is boring"... I like ninjas, but there was already too much ninjas in MK2...

he definitely needs to get the force ball back...that was his best move.

i was like holy shit cause i love his character and when i first saw him i couldnt believe it especially cause i was still in grade school when i first saw him and in mk2 when i could play as him.. he was always one of my favorites.. now he looks stupid cause he has evolved.

When I first saw him in Mk2 as a playable character,I was like...whoa,it's that green ninja that was hidden in Mk1.I was pumped to see him playable.I wasn't to thrilled with his Mk:Da look,I must admit.

Yea bring back the original reptile, masked ninja and all, non of this reptilian shit.

Well, even though this is gonna get closed for being in the wrong forum, here's what I thought:
NO FUCKING WAY! That's what I thought when my buddy who had already played it told me that Reptile was in it. Then I see pics of him in Gamepro and, I kid you not, I shit a brick.
It ruled so much ass. That's how I wanna feel again with this game. The same way I felt when MK2 came out.

Can you guys believe this? He doesn't even know how to do the sexality! I could do it with my eyes closed on a machine with a broken stick! Haha.
What are you doing at this site if you don't know anything about the MK games at all?
