Yeah you are probably right about that one KenshiMaster16. People want new characters, new innovations, just plain new stuff. Maybe having the same old characters over and over and switching them around some and adding some new stuff could work for awhile but then people would start (if they already haven't) wanting new characters, old characters with new moves, etc... But midway (I feel) is trying there best to keep origional old specials with the classic characters while also adding tweaks for being in 3d and also new moves for old classic characters. Not every game is going to have what you want but Midway trys (IMO).

i agree.. i hated most of MK4 new characters.. but now.. im a bigger fan of them.. im sure you hated both stryker and secktor when you saw them first in mk3.. now you like them.. give them time to progress and build on you

they will be in mk7 trust me

u people should know by know that mk7 has been announced for ps3-xbox2-n5? well think about how many characters can go into mk7 if mk6 has this many characters

Where are the old characters? You mean people from MK2 or MK3? Both of which were sequels. Both of which consisted of a new roster.

The only old characters I consider being Old School are the original 7 characters in Mortal Kombat 1, you can't get older than that. I want to see some classic characters in this game other than Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Scorpion. We got Liu Kang but I feel we need 1 more, I'm hoping either Cage or Sonya get in this game. And for god sakes Cage better not die again..

Stryker was the worst character in MK and I doubt he would fit into this story like many have said. I would like to mainly see now added in RAIN SEKTOR and MAVADO. Noob Smokes a cool addition too but I want them both seperate. I loved smoke now he has this new look and everything go back to the cyborg damn't. But I also like the new characters Havik Dairou Hotaru and DK lol. Ben's ok. I don;t like darrius so far. He looks like Jax and he looks stupid but I'll give him a try.

shang tsung is in the intro and in the acid pool arena

goro is in a cell

johnny cage is also in a cell and in the intro

reptile is in konquest

sonya I dont know and I dont care either, but shes probably in konquest

as far as I know those are the only classics and oldies, styker and sektor were NEW in MK3

I agree. The ORIGINAL 7 are the main heroes and villans.

Well if they keep the same old characters in every single game, it would get boring! However they should change every now and then.
