I know a lot has been released about Deception but they never reveal the Sub-Boss before the game is released

It would be possible... Could this be the "deception"? If Liu Kang come back really as a ghost/zombie, I doubt he could be a Good character...

If this were to be true, than this might be the biggest deceptions to be revealed. Liu Kang... Earth's Greatest warrior when he was in the land of the living, coming back from the dead stonger and possibly possesed by an evil spirit from within that wants to join the Dragon King. I find this possible to happen only because Shang Tsung killed him and comsumed his soul. Maybe when Tsung died, a part of Tsungs evil demon might have gone with Liu Kang. That would be a shocker right there.

Nothing allows us to assert in that case that Liu Kang would join of himself DK... Maybe that the DK is a sort of necromancer commanding the mummies, zombies... Don't forget his army in MKDA...

They have no willpower, they just obey to the bearer of the Medallion (I wonder moreover how DK got back the medallion in the hands of the DA...)

it's not a medallion, but a amulet

i`ve got a little theory:
Look at Hotaru`s special moves (i mean Fireball, bicycle kick) and look at hisd armor, it`s alike Dragon King warrior, maybe Liu Kang soul was sent to that body and :D:D:D you know the rest

I doubt he's playable. I'm guessing he's appearances will be in Konquest or endings.

I don't think Shang Tsung is dead. I think Shang Tsung is morphed into Liu Kang whose soul was so pure the transformation didn't quite work, hence we are left with a Zombie/Ghost appearance!

I've never seen any solid evidence of a Liu Kang zombie/ghost. Where did it start and did it come from the man himself, EB?

The idea of maybe Tsung and Kang somehow becoming fused is simply mouth watering.

Maybe... after Kung Lao defeated Shang Tsung, either dead or not, Liu Kang's soul possibly left out of Shang and he was searching for his body and found it just when the threat of the Dragon King has begun. This could be a possible reason to his zombie/ghost look.

Shang Tsung doesnt have a soul of his own. I dont know if this true but thats what was said in the first movie.

Liu meant that Shang was heartless.

His first costume will be his zombie form and the alternate costume will be his normal self.

Ok if you read a few months back,liu kang was confirmed.His zombie/ghost appearance will be two different costumes per say zombie main,ghost alt, if i remember correctly.I wasn't to thrilled by the announcement of him coming back...but i am now anxious to see how he is going to look/play.I for one am glad Boon and Co. are keeping alot under wraps still.I don't want everything shown like MK:DA was.

i am sure some more stages and character will be shown in the next trailer, every trailer has exposed a new character each time. you never know lui kang could be next.
