Good. Why is everyone hoping for another character anyway? Wasn't Khameleon the giant complaint? Then came the complaints about the gameplay, movesets, KAK etc...and instead of possibly taking the time to correct these issues and ensuring that the game actually plays well with the wiimote, there are people who want Midway to spend more time on new characters? Sometimes I believe that people here hate MK.

Did you not read my post or something? Monster is NOT Scorpion! Scorpion wasn't even born yet when Shujinko was in his late teens. I had already stated before that Monster's look was originally going to be Scorpion's alternate costume and there was going to be a story for him involving time travel, probably as a means of trying to stop Shujinko from getting all the Kamidogu. But, the idea was scrapped and they used the design to create Monster's character.

Okay. Here's the way I see it, and I honestly can't understand how it could go much further.

There is no Temor in the Wii version. None. No April Fool's. No Tremor for you.

Monster (gameplay-wise) IS Scorpion. Taking time to give him a fresh moveset and basically making him a separate entity would mean that the MK team is retracting focus from ensuring the game doesn't suck. If that's what you want, then by all means root for it. Just don't come here and complain later.

Timeline and story have nothing to do with this issue. At all.

It would also be cool to throw some of the characters from the comics in the mix. Namely Gorbak, siang, hydro, lietenant lance, grum, bo, zaggot, rook, kombatant, bishop, and abacus

fuck monster. we got chameleon, meat, motaro, and now khameleon as well. four more characters than we were originally supposed to have gotten. plus taven and daegon.

i am more than pleased. khameleon completes the roster.

Are you guys listening at all, or do you want Armageddon on Wii to fail that much? Extra characters = less time for the MK team to smooth everything out for the Wii. That means all the glitches from before will still be present, the possibility that the Wiimote will not operate correctly with the programming, and plenty of other errors. But sure, let's throw in five extra characters. That'll leave everyone with enough to complain about until MK8.

I dont even understand the justification to having Monster or Tremor appear in MKA. Every chraracter that is in the game now has been playable on some other FIGHTING GAME. Yes Sareena was playable in Tournament edition so she counts. Just be happy that they gave your Chameleon, Khameleon and Motoro

i won't ever buy another mk game if ed boon himself doesn't personally deliver the game to my house on my birthday and bring cake and an apology letter for excluding all of these characters on the ps2.

I think that Monster was only available in MK Deception but it was only accessible via Code Breaker or Game Shark or something like that.

NN is correct. Monster was not an actual fighting game character, save for hacks.

Again, I'm not concerned by this but others might not want to give up their hopes just yet. You can say what you want, still nothing can be ensured until the game is released. So let this thread serve for people to discuss who, why, etc they also want to see, until then (and at that state I assume this thread will be at the bottom of the board anyway).
