Personally, I think all characters should be given a chance. Jarek, Bo' Rai Cho, Li Mei, Stryker, Rain, Reiko, Tanya, all of them.

Except frickin' Shinnok, that miserable piece of crap. God, I hate him so much.

There is a lot of characters that I don't like :
Khameleon, Blaze, Stryker, Tanya, Jarek, Rain, Bo'Rai Cho, Liu Kang, Drahmin, Hsu Hao, Frost, Shinnok, Sheeva, Motaro, Moloch, Mokap, Fujin, Kai, Noob Saibot, Ermac, Smoke, Kabal, Nightwolf...

And I'm not a big fan of cyber ninjas either...

That's such a sad way to look at things. There's so many great characters in Mortal Kombat if you give them a chance.

The only characters I truly dislike are Jax and Liu Kang. They've had their chance. And a second chance and even a third chance. Now I'm just tired and I want them to go away.
Motaro and Li Mei bug me. No specific reason.
And I don't hate Sonya, I just hate how overrated she is. It can be tremendously irritating.

Beyond that I have nothing against anybody else.

To make a long list short I'll just list the ones I like:

Mileena
Cage
Shang Tsung
Raiden
and Lui Kang

stryker-no powers and completely useles
hso hao-truly boring and no good attacks
bo rai cho-stupid moves and a very lame character
li mei-i just dont like her
smoke-exact copy of scorpion in trilogy....hopefully he gets some moves of him own in deception

~ Raiden: I just can't stand seeing him anymore. Why dont they give Fujin a chance to be the only god in a game? Fujin is so cool...

~ Jax: he was completely stupid in MK:DA. I hated his first outfit, and was thinking the second one could be cool. I went to buy it in the krypt... God, it was even worse.

~ Sheeva: it's not that I don't like her... But she was such a ridiculous fighter, even if she was the sub-boss, but... a regular character?

And I'm getting sick of seeing Sonya in almost every game. I hope she really isn't in Deception.

i do agree with jax, mokap, hsu hao, stryker, sonya and cage...and i know darrius is going to be an unfitting character, dairou seems only enjoyable as a victim...*shrug*
