i'de like to think it would be kung lau but thats just me but i think that if subby is getting older than he wont be around much longer. Im sure they'll discuss his aging in MKD.

But I think Deception will not have a hero. We don't need another person with a big ego running around while the world is in danger.

There will be NO hero in this game.

My guess is the Dragon king will win this fight in outworld, leaving the story open for another attack in Mk7.....earth.

I think Sub-Zero's old look makes him look more god-like.

Jin pulled it off because he is the son of two of the most popular characters in Tekken history, and was out for revenge by killing the games main boss.

Unless Ben's/Kobra's story is related to someone famous in MK history, and is out for revenge or some kind of contravertial conflict with the dragon king, he can't possibly be the hero of MK6.

With Kung Lao looking set to miss MKD (unfortunatly) I think Sub Zero's time has come to take the role of hero. Maybe that's why Kung Lao's sitting this one out, MKDA seems to build Sub Zero up as a main good guy, with the Lin Quei turning good, him having the medallion and a new student (Frost). Looks like his time has come, there's a lot they can do with him now.

I'd love to have Kung Lao back, but as Sub Zero's storyline has developed deeper, and he's more of a fan favourite, I think it's time he became MK's main heroic fighter, possibly the new champion of Mortal Kombat.

(PLEASE DO NOT make Liu the hero and champion again. He's had his time, shouldn't even be back in the first place).

I think Sub-Zero could take over he has a high status in his Klan, but if you think about Shujinko being it it's a good chance, but he's old soo you don't really see many heros of MK that are old, then again I could be wrong.

There is no proof of that YET. It has just been assumed.
But he does look old!

Well if there's any other way a mid 30 year old can age to the body of a 70 year old in the space of 5ish years (not sure of the timeline between MK history) I haven't seen it, so I suppose everyone has adopted it as a reason, I'm hoping this issue will be addressed in deception because he looked 50 in DA but now he looks 70, has a huge bald patch and has one huge ponytail.

Still, he's one of the best and strongest characters no matter what his physical appearence suggests and should be the hero of Deception as it seems he's the only Earthrealm "A-lister" left who hasn't disappeared or died and come back.

i hope its shinjukio in his old man look. he just looks like a master or sensei of some sort.

Seriously, I know Sub-Z is the only logical candidate. It's just that I sooooo want him to be corrupted by the Dragon Medallion and evil! I kinda tend to agree with the others that say there's no hero in MKD. Nobody IMO stands out.

i have already said this in many posts,but i think bo rai cho will be the new champ..

i do feel its time a female like KITANA needs to be a champ for once....
