quan chi became he is the main villian
he fights with skill rather than simple speed like shang does

at the time of writing, most high level players consider shang in the top five characters period. and quan isn't in that list unfortunately...

i think shang is the best boss and has allways been the most evil of the characters and in my opinion hes the best fighter in mkda

i am glad that they finally made shang tsung relatively cool in mkda, in contrast to past mk's where he was just a total fag. but i still think that quan chi is cooler. i wish that he had more special moves, which is the main area where shang tsung has him beat, but i think quan chi is a more interesting character and his styles are more unique. maybe he should have a special move like in the baraka's demise video where he kind of holds him in mid air for a while, giving him a chance to beat the hell out of his opponent.

I'll have to go with shang tsung. He changes his shape....thats just cool. Quan chi is cool too but I don't like his character. To close to shinnok.

I think quan chi is better, shang isnt as good as he was in the past mk's cos he cant morph now! quan chis weapons are the coolest.

Quan Chi has more power and is more experienced in Sorcery. Shang Tsung has better fighting skills. So it's kinda hard to say. One thing is certain that neither are better than Kahn. The Emperor is most Evil boss and main villain in most of the Mk series.

am i the only one who thinks quan chi looked way cooler in mk4/mythologies? i dont much like his long gaunt face, he looked scaryer when he was bulkier and not such a skinny bastard. plus his voice was perfectly fitting and we dont really hear it in DA
