I think DC easily. Take superman for example, that giant ball that always tends to spontaneously fall on the city, and right before it crushes hundreds of citizens, Superman catches it.

In the Golden desert, the death trap where the giant statue falls on the opponent, it crushes than like a water balloon. lol.


In reality, Superman alone should be able to dominate the cast, if the game were based on how powerful the character's truly should be judging from actual comic books, Superman should be teh broken.

Unless there's Green K, then Supes fucked lol.

That's one thing I'm concerned about. Superman might be very ubalanced. I'm hoping they can keep him from being too powerful.

The game won't be unbalanced, there's going to be "top tiers" in this game as in all fighting games. Supes just has a lot of specials, but it doesnt' mean it'll be unbalanced or you can take him out

Sub, Scorp and Flash look very good too.

Plus, once the whole roster is complete we'll have a better idea obviously.

No one in MK has shown competence (let alone mastery) of more than 3 martial art forms (and Batman knows every single Martial art form on earth). So what, what that I said can be applied to the MK characters?

Maybe I couldn't answer all of these things, but is it my fault that even when the DC characters flaws are being emphasized they still come across as Mary-Sues?

So no, they aren't "like Mary Sues" since they don't, in any way, fit the definition. It's not like they were created to be dropped into Mortal Kombat.

To delude yourself into thinking that, if not being limited to be able to fit into a crossover game, the DC heroes wouldn't curbstomp the MK harcatrs in ten minutes flat (tops) is just foolish.

Hell, Superman alone could take everyone by floating in space and heat beaming them into submission (his heat vision can burn hotter than the sun).

Onaga with the kamidogu can kill Superman, Captain Marvel and pretty much anyone in the DC universe

They aren't all that powerful IN THEIR OWN UNIVERSE, I think is a good point. That doesn't mean that aren't all that powerful. Maybe instead of saying that the characters are mary-sueish, i should say that the WHOLE DC UNIVERSE is overpowered. So yeah, maybe they could beat all the MK characters, that doesn't make them better. You don't have to insult the MK characters to make your point.

1. Name one MK character who's an extraterrestrial that happens to appear physically (or close to physically) human, but have different physiology otherwise, being completely impossible (like Superman, Supergirl, Lobo, Hawkman, Hawkwoman etc).

2. Name one MK character who is has not had over a thousand years and knows every single martial art, like Batman, Cassandra Cain, etc. (which is definitely impossible).

3. Name one MK character who can travel faster than the speed of light and not die or be completely torn apart molecularly, which is biologically and physically impossible (like the Flash).

4. Name one MK character who can lift a mountain and not cause millions of earthquakes because of tectonic plate damage (like Superman).

5. Name one MK character who can throw a meteor without any leverage and not get sent colliding back into earth with the same speed at which he through the meteor (which defies the laws of physics, like Superman).

6. Name me one MK character who is a grown man running around with a little boy in tights, á la Batman & Robin (okay, cheap shot).

7. Name one MK character with a list of powers as long and as obnoxious and as overpowered as Superman.

4)because Midway was too lazy to show the "human" side of every character and his own personality.However Liu Kang and Kung Lao in SHaolin Monks proved to be very smart in more than once(helping the monks in the whu shu accademy,etc)
5)i really doubt that bataman knows every single martial arts on earth,because a lot of martial arts tyle were lost in time.And it's useness know ALL martial arts styles if you cannot master them.as Bruce Lee said "it's better to know few things,but know them very well,that feigning to know everything and can't be able to use it"(not the right words,but the essence is this)

DC characters technically have the advantage, since they far exceed any notion of believability I can withstand in terms of their abilities. The thought that someone of Bruce Wayne's age happened to master every martial arts form known to man (Some of which on their own are difficult to master over the course of years) is ridiculous and I scoff every time I see his attributes listed.
Superman has a kind of convoluted history in regards to his capabilities. If you trace his history, you'll see that his strength levels and so on fluctuate to various levels. Though he apparently isn't quite as godly in the present as he was at other times, he's still more than a match for most MK characters in the majority of his incarnations.

Lets see MK because apparently DC characters cant kill soo there gonna just have too find another way too get rid of them like take them too prison or something lol .

I'm not insulting the MK characters, though. I'm just pointing out the fact that they can't compare in abilities. I still love them all dearly, but their strength/speed/etcetera are not comparable to the DCU characters'.
