I really don't want to see Joker in the game. Clowns just... they just don't fit into this game. It's like asking a midget to be in this game. We already know how midgets are like in a game, play Timesplitters and go up against charafters smaller than you.

Actually.. I don't see any villain entering in this game. It's just me, and I don't really care about if you guys seriously disagree with me, I don't want to start a pointless flame war and make this into a shit-load of dumb comments because I am probably the only one here who just doesn't want Villains in the game.

And if I'm wrong, I don't care, at least there's a game coming out rather than nothing.

I just hope the villians look a hell of a lot darker then the Superheroes we've seen. They are so bright and happy in the pics!

I hope that they make their colors a bit more darker to fit the MK mood.

Now, as to the thread: It's not a bad idea, but I personally favor the normal Batman villains over the Beyond ones.

Never cared for Batman Beyond. I don't even remember what villains he had besides the ink woman.

As far as whatever villains make it in, I hope it's a little spread out and not just an army of Batman villains...even though they are probably the most well-known ones.

Thw entire DC roster could have been made with Batman Characters.

It's MK vs DC I highly doubt Boon gives a shit what any of the fans want. I'd rather have Joker or any other villain than another hero.

[Segue]; I can't really see anything about Batman Beyond that says "MK" more than core DC design. This sounds more like the fairly typical skew of people who watch some cartoons, but largely know nothing about the comics (or depth of the characters).

I'm sure the irony of choosing a (sometimes harsh, but) kid-friendly cartoon, over characters explored in some very adult stories in the comics, would be enough to turn the noses up of most MK fans. Even if a T rating means they don't have to wait for their parents to buy it, this year. Yuk yuk.

I suppose if I really think about it, the Beyond characters are a bit more fantastical than some of their Bat-counterparts, and comparably underdeveloped, making them more akin to the MK cast... Not exactly the most admirable grounds for commonality, but sometimes a shovel's a shovel, I guess.

With Boon's record I'm not so trusting of his word anymore.

Maybe he cares now that he saw so much hate on the game and is trying to get fans to relax. Which I must say I find the game oddly more appealing since I saw those screenshots and read the words "fatality" and "killing" in the right sequence. Although lets remember he originally said there would be no fatalities. Which again is why I'm reluctant to believe anything that comes out of Boon's mouth.

i thought the game was mk vs dc, not mk vs batman beyond. seems a lot of people seem to expect the dc roster to be plagued with batman's rogue's gallery. i dunno, i think they're going to balance the villains roster a bit. like using darkseid for supes, zoom for flash, and maybe hector hammond for gl. i'm thinking only the joker and catwoman will represent gotham. oh, btw, anyone think red tornado and firestorm will represent?

On topic,I haven't seen that show in a very long long time ,but I do remember some villians.I guess a few would fit ,but they shouldn't overload on the characters on the entire game.

Ed does care for the fans, he tries anyway but since a lot are at times dumb, unpleased and ask for trivial nonsense over important things like gameplay for example... anyway I'd probably just try my best and say fuck it....

But anywho, Batman Beyond. BTW, Mick you're wrong BB was actually aimed towards the more mature crowd besides Teens since the first season whole was very mature, dark and corporate related.
