Im not playin on line because I don't wanna use the money for a game. I mean, MK is the only online game I'd have for PS2 too. Surprisingly it seems like there are more people than I thought that wont be playin it online. That's why I think MKD should have came out for GC too. But oh well, thank god I have a PS2.

I’m going to get MKD for the Xbox and currently I do not own Xbox Live. When MKD comes out then I first gonna unlock all the characters and stuff. I willing to get Xbox Live later on because sadly only one of my friends likes MK and I want to try some other people out.

It sucks that you can’t play online queve because I would love it to play some rounds against you. But who knows maybe with MK7 when Sonya and Kitana are back

The adapter is simple as hell to install, so don't worry about that shit. It uses ethernet. You don't need a computer to go online with ps2. Just your service provider, the modem and an ethernet cable. You're good as gold. You save a system file on your memory card for the adapter; think of it as a driver or startup disc for gonig online.
You can use any USB keyboard and mouse, if you wish. It is not necessary, though.
Apparently the HDD improves loading times. And there is software out there which will let you completely store games on the HDD, so you load completely from that, instead of the DVD. Heres a good resource.

I wont be going online any time soon. Mainly cuz I dont have Xbox Live or the Ps2 Adapter and if I did, I wouldnt be able to make the monthly payments. I need a job....

Yeah , I won't be playing online either. My appartment for my near-to-begin school year is gonna cost me some bucks, not counting the food here. I,m working but money is going fast anyway, since I can't stay a my parents house anymore. So I,m saving money to buy a new PS2 cuz' mine is starting to get pretty old it is grinding when playing some games and etc... I want to buy Deception for X-box, San Andreas , Smackdown vs RAW and probably Midway Arcade treasures 2 so no more money to pay for monthly online play. Maybe later down the line , but I'll have to cut on fun and beer

I'm not good enough to play MKD or ANY MK game online quite frankly..I wouldn't have fun getting repetively killed w/out mercy anyway...

Come on guys! Get a job! I had to babysit a 7 yr old girl w/ ADHD who doesn't even take medicine for it 10 hrs a day, 2 days a week ALL summer! I bought a network adapter and an ethernet cable this week! I hooked it up tonight, and it works fine.

I won't. I have a dial-up. I could buy the network adapter and the HD(if necessary) but with crappy connection it's worthless. So yeah, at least for now, I wont get online with any game.

The whole online thing just confuses the hell out of me so right now, nah I wont be going online, I too am fine with offline play..

However, Smackdown vs Raw is rumoured to be online aswell, so I just mite have to change my mind on that!!

Most likely ill play online for maybe a month or two but just like all my other XBL games ill get sick of it and just play offline just because i cant take most of the people on live they just ruin it for you.

I won't go online at the very first. I'm saving my XBL activation card to fire it up during Thanksgiving when I can sit down & play some Halo 2.

Its seems like a few of you are not going on line due to not having the money, or living under parental control. I never realized that so many of you were so young . Oh well I will be going online with Xbox live, it would have been nice to play against you guys. If its any consolation as long as you do well in school you too will be able to secure a career, move out, and make your own rules under your own roof.

PS.
When you do, make sure to turn your home into a "hooker hotel" and have as much sex as possible before you get married! Trust me you wont regret it .
