Well, I think none of those require the needs to be champion. (Liu Kang has won too many times and died and came back....lame if he was champion, and sub will suck like that, does not fit him)

It must be am earth warrior. My bet is on Sonya, Kenshi or Kung Lao (I hope not him!)But I doubt they will win in this game, I think the end will be in Mk7.

Maybe if you add something like: Magazine hints for a new chosen one!!! to call attention.

I can see Baraka plays a big role in the story, but I dont think he will ever win.

I say Ermac, Kenshi, Sonya or Raiden should win.

I think the new Chosen One will either be Sub-Zero or Kenshi. It might even be Nightwolf.

The chosen one is a ghost/zombie?? Hmm, could be, but I'm not entirely convinced. I think the chosen one will be a character that has been evil in the past. Someone like Baraka (and no, I'm not just saying that because he's my fave character) or Mileena, perhaps Quan Chi if he's in this game.

I think that it'll be a character whom the gods have no choice but to try to bring over to the side of good, someone who could deceive them and the earth warriors at any given moment. Someone the earth warriors don't like, don't want to trust, but have no choice. That's just my theory. Because from the list of known characters, the only good guys that I see as having the potential for carrying that title are Sub-Zero and Nightwolf. Not real big on either guy in that role.

What if the Elder Gods decided to choose one of their own *cough*Rayden*cough* and that's why he hasn't been confirmed yet...It a BIG surprise.

well whoever it is i hope it's not liu again... and i really don't care for sub zero filling the role..... i wouldn't mnind scorpion would be an unusual change for his story a lil beyond his ever quest for vengeance..... maybe raiden he would be ok since elder gods..... or fuijin.... dunno about nightwolf but still possibility who knows...
