I don't think there are only 24 characters...I think he is lying. He is decieving us, like he said he would in PSM magazine. He said you would see Deception with the characters, the people who play it, and with the magazine editors. So he could be lying that there are 24 characters. I think more but, if there were only 3 left...

I think there will be 24 characters, 12 of which are available from start and another 12 which are unlockable. 1 Boss and 1 Sub-Boss and 1-3 Secret characters which COULD include a classic character, perhaps Smoke and Jade to mirror MK2 since almost everything else is mirroring MK2 in MKD. :p
