Yeah the the Deadly Alliance made a fake tournament. Lei Mei won

she only won the fake tournament. although, it would be kinda cool if she did win the actual tournament, it would be great to have a female champion IMO.

have made a bet with a friend of mine on who won mortal kombat 4 and 5 i would like clarification on who won mortal kombat 4, i believe that lei mei won 5.
in the intro to mk 6 it says that "Raiden was defeated, the deadly aliance was successful." and by that my friend thinks that the deadly aliance won mk 5 well in quan chis ending shang shung was killed and lui kang went in the body of kano, in shang shungs ending quan chi dies.
in mk 5 lei mei was forced to work for the deadly aliance and that lei mei won the tournament but in doing so she gathered the souls that would make the deadly alliance "SUCCESSFUL" and from and they entraped lei mei into the last warrior. from their the whole raiden shang tsang quan chi intro 4 mk 6 came from so Yes Lei Mei won MK:DA BUT THE DEADLY ALLIANCE THUS WAS SUCCESSFULL!!!

Li Mei Did not win deadly alliance. She won a tournament made up by Quan Chi and Shang Tsung to trick her so that they could use her people to finish building their palaces and then take her soul.
I also dont think anyone won Deadly Alliance, the Dragon King intervened.

wow man you confused me, so you say she didnt win, then you say she won the tournament that Chi and Tsung made up, that sounds like she won to me, plus if you read her new bio and beat the arcade mode from MKDA you will see that the tournament was indeed finished, so the dragon king didnt intervene. *think hard retard*

Ummmm who u calling a retard. Ur the one who cant tell the difference between the Deadly Alliance tournament, and a side tournament which Quan Chi and Shang tsung made up to keep Li Mei away from killing them. She won this side tournament but not the Dealy Alliance tournament.

I don't think there's an actual winner... but I'd say the Dragon King came out pretty good... seeing how he's back in action.

Li Mei is weak! Every time I play her I'm thinking "Why the hell am I playing as this piece of crap character?".

I guess this might be spoiler, but according to the intro sequence in mk:d, not only did the earth warriors get beaten by the da, but raiden was defeated by them too. then when quan chi and tsung were fighting and tsung was getting beaten, the dragon king made his appearance and raiden, tsung, and chi all attacked him to no avail, and that was when raiden released his essence in a vejita-like blast (when he fought buu) but that did nothing to the dragon king. Now if shujinko is the elder gods' chosen warrior, and if only he can defeat the dragon king, that means that shujinko, a mortal, can spank raiden. How pathetic, but then again, raiden did get spanked by two lame-o sorcerers

Li Mei was, in MKDA, classy...in my humble opinion. From her fightin stance, to her "pretty" moves, she was quick, admittedly not the strongest of kombatants but she served her purpose well.
Aside from having a cop, or a princess, or a robot, or a thunder god, or a spectre, or a sorcerer....we had something a little more simple.....
A student. Im sure we can all relate to being a student more than we can a thunder god? Yep, exactly.
Its alright putting her down and cursing her, but at least have ur reasons, and critisice properly, none of this "shes crap" rubbish alot of you spout.
As for the winner of MK:DA, thats easy ...The Deadly Alliance won.
