I've been playing fighting games since Street Fighter 2 first hit the arcades. Was that really 15 years ago...ah well I don't need some lights flashing to tell me when to attack,it's all instinct.

Why would you need a light to tell you when you're in danger? If you're about to fall into a death trap or something, aren't there little flashing lights bordering the area where you can be kicked, punched, or whatever, to your death? And WHO would be paying attention to the indication lights, rather than defeating your opponent? Pointless I believe. They should've taken the time to add in another move or two for the people that have only 2, rather than something as pointless as this

one of the main functions of the indicator lights it to warn you if your in danger and this can be very helpful in stages such as the falling cliff and any other stage with multiple levels and/or deathtraps. They can also indicate whether you are in the right position to do a stage fatality.
The point of them is to help you and they are not just useless lights. People can choose if they want to look at them or not, but i for one think that thay are a good idea.
besides, it doesnt take a genius to see the colour of a light a few centimeters above the characters head, if you actually need to stop fighting, move your head, look at the light and say to yourself "oooh, the light is blue, i better block" you must be very slow and have bad eyesight because all you need to do is see the colour under your health bar and react.
p.s. blue means safe on the indicator, so you wouldnt have to block. I was just saying what you said.
p.p.s. if you have to stop playing and look at the indicator just to see what colour it is, how long does it take you to check how much life you have?
i dont mean to be rude but i think that its stupid to say things are useless when you havent actually used them, I will use them.

I 100% agree.

Not only that.Alot of new people will be playing this game for the first time,i'm sure.I can only imagine it will also help them.I am an old school MK person, and yes I too will be using those indicators.I don't care how old a gamer you are or if you played sfII back in the day.You too will catch yourself using these indicators if you plan on winning matches against people that use these to their advantage.
