why is sub bald

why would they make sub bald i mean i know time has passed in the mk world but in part 3 he had black hair, i really can't remember him except for his ninja costume in 4 and in DA he had grey hair but if MK D takes place right after DA then why is he bald i don't think that time has passed that much, but i guess we have to wait and see, i just think its dumb

That question has been going around since we first seen the screen shots of Sub-Zero's other outfit. Who knows why he is bald, time will tell.

I think its his dragon medalion. Either that, or great time has passed.

I think they tried to make him look more like Iron Monkey. If you haven't seen the movie, RENT IT!

Great movie.

It would appear that Sub's look indicates that he's no longer has the Dragon Medallion. In the pics that we've seen of him, I haven't seen it.

Oh the dragon medallion is there on his alternate costume on his belt.

On his "shredder" costume, you can't see the medallion anywhere. But by looking at the dragon heads on this costumes belt and shoulder guards, I'm starting to think that there might be some connection between Subzero and the Dragon King.

Well, that answeres that assertion.

The dragon decoration is prevelant in every aspect of the games in some way. I don't think there's any connection to tie there, but we don't really know everything about the game as of now. Whok nows.

Subby had grey hair in MKDA because of frost in his hair(no pun intended) didn't he? Well if he si getting older faster, would that mean we would get another sub-zero in MK7? or maybe, he could lose the medallion in some way and return to how he was before?
Btw, could'nt the dragon medallion have something to do with the dragon king? it is a possibility, right?

its just as possible as the black dragon or the red dragon or liu kang's dragon fatality being connected to the DK

and hopefully we dont get another sub-zero for mk7...i doubt their parents have them stocked on shelves ready for MK.

If he dies, they'll probably end up having Frost take his place. Or they would just say 'Sub-Zero's son has taken his place'. I don't think Sub-Zero is a character that's going to die off easily, unless MK7 is dramatically different. But for now I think everyone should just focus on MK6.

Look closer..he ISNT bald..its jus his hair is all geled back or somethin..I have the PSM april article..Look on page58, 2nd and 3rd screen shot of sub kicking ermac into the meat grinder..NOTICE how theres detail of hair strands being gelled back..you can see the reflections of the hair strands slightly..Im a graphic designer so I have a trained eye for these types of minor detail.. so lets hope im right..

I noticed that a little while back but I wasn't sure.Thanks for clearin it up I guess.However there is no doubt that Sub-Zero is getting older. Have you noticed that his outfits have started covering more off his body. Maybe his ice power is growing to fast for him to adjust to. What if the dragon medallion kills him, but then resurects him in a young body in the end of MK6 and beggining of MK7?
