GAMECUBE ROCKS.
It's not for gamecube b/c of the way the discs are shaped they could fit remakes of other nintendo games on there because they had already made part of it and not for a large game

Don't get me wrong I like Gamecube in all but if you look at Gamecube's 1st ,2nd , and 3rd party game sales history, the cube sales more 1st party games than 2nd and or 3rd parties . You should know that one of the many reasons Midway pulled the plug on gamecube's MK: D is because it wouldn't have sold well. Comparing to all the features that PS2 and Xbox's features PS2 and Xbox's MK: D gamers wouldn't bother with the gamecube version since it would lack online, which is the biggest factor in getting the game sincee online to any game offer unlimited replay value. In all Gamecube isn't a system that is profitable to 3rd party game makers like Midway. I hate to say it. I would have bought MK: D on Gamecube if it would have come out, or if there was a version of it to be realease in the future. Hell since I pre ordered MK: D in full on the PS2 in full, and I might get a Xbox get to play against more people in what is looking like one of the greatest games of all time, and own MK: D on 3 conoles . Btw MK: D has nothing to do with technogly when said MK: D not coming to Gamecube. Thus size of disc, memory or what ever...ect. Midway could do it , its all a matter of getting profit back from the Gamcube version of MK: D .

Now, here's reason.
The one, and only reason MKD is not comming to GameCube.
Money.
More appropriately, cost analysis.
If they could make a decent margin on the game compared to the man hours, marketing, and physical product it would take to ship, they would. Midway is about money.
See? No bashing, just truth.

Get a wireless broadband adapter, providing of course you have a source of income.
And what is a 'ponce'? :)
| scorpionspupil Wrote: it is not on the gamecube because the gamecube is a wimpy little boys console so sell that piece of crap and by a real machine and fight like a man |
Begun the console war has!
For those of you guys thinking the Cube is a stupid piece of crap are in fact dazed and confused. Please sit down and get some water. Now I'm actually gonna do something, but back up my words. Something flamers never do.
Cube not getting MKD is for several reasons.
Controller
No the controller doesn't suck. It has awesome grip. Unfornutly you can't use it for fighting games that involve the use of all the buttons.
Violence on the Cube
I have never heard a single drop from the big N saying they didn't want MKD. You're not seeing the gore and guts because Cube is lacking in 3rd party support.
Online play
Yes the system can go online. Is Nintendo willing to support it? No. The game has an ephesis on online play, big N doesn't. Midway would have to setup their own servers for play, then charge people to maintain them, and Midway doesn't have a lot of money these days.
Midway hurting & specs
Midway isn't doing so well. So they're cutting their costs. Sorry to say, MKDA sold the least on Cube. While specs wise Cube can produce better graphics and loading time than PS2, the same arguement for the xbox applies, specs aint everything.
What you want is all you need and the Breakdown
Hey some people just want to play the games on the Cube. In my life I'm just happy playing Halo and some MK everyso once a while, so I play my XBox. Some people just like Mario or Metroid, and thats good enough. You have no right (bashers) to tell a person what to think. Besides Nintendo has built a fairly sturdy piece of cube. I constantly hear PS2s and some XBoxes breaking down. My NES still works.
Nintendo's philosophy
I don't know why Nintendo doesn't embrace technology like online play. Yes sometimes they are closedminded, but hey at least they're willing to try new things. The Nintendo Dual Screen looks promising, and having a console without a dvd player isn't too bad since we all have stand alones.
Help support future Mortal Kombat Tournaments.
