In mortal kombat deadly alliance Fujin had be in.
but Raiden thought that he didn't needed him in the battle against the Deadly Alliance.
it could be that Fujin will join Raiden this time in the battle against the Dragon king, because they will need everyone to put an end on this treat of evil....

I also am wondering why he isn't in. I mean Raiden sacrificed part of himself to stop the DK it didn't work. You think he'd call on his friend and ally.

Perhaps he wants Fujin to stay in Earthrealm and act as the last line of defence against the DK.

Maybe due to Raiden's continous acts defiant of the heavens Fujin no longer trusts him.

Maybe Fujin foresaw the DK's rise and had a premptive strike. Unfortunately he was captured before he could attack.

Maybe that is why the DK is such a big threat as he has captured one of the remaining gods.

I had hoped for his return. He has loads of potential. Maybe he'll be a secret character. There is always hope.
