It turns out the characters in the prison stage turn out to be the secret characters? I mean think about it. If that's the case we have:

Jarek
Fujin
Reiko
Quan Chi
Kitana
Drahmin
Stryker

I know I will be disappointed. Quan Chi and Kitana are the only ones that deserve to be a secret character. Meanwhile, we have:

Jarek: Kano clone
Fujin: Raiden with wind
Reiko: Shang Tsung replacement, and I swear to god, if anyone starts saying Reiko is DK, then I will die.
Drahmin: Sucky, just plain sucky character.
Stryker: I will hang myself before this happens.

However, I doubt that these will be secret characters. Since Raiden hasn't shown up yet, and, if I'm right, Raiden is a secret character.
Thoughts?

I'm sort of lost on why people think Quan Chi's there. I can't see him.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I hated just about every single character who has ended up in the prison. Namely Siryker and Reiko, but I was never particularly find of any of them. If they all show up as playable, I will be severely disappointed.

Do you know what all the characters above have in common? They all deserve to be in MKD more than Kitana and Quan Chi. Kitana has been budgetted in ever MK since her debut, and so has Quan Chi. Let's give the limelight to characters who have loads of potential and haven't overstayed their visit. And to say Fujin is a wind version of Raiden is pure bollocks. They play completely differently.

Rayden has been seen in two IGN videos and the trailor itself.

I'd be happy if Kitana, Quan Chi, and Reiko were secret characters.
I liked Reiko, the only thing I didn't like was the Shao Kahn bullshit they stuck him in. But since it's been officially stated that Reiko is not Kahn, and since Kahn's no where to be found and Reiko is in the Prison this means he also wasn't Kahn's decoy in Deadly Alliance. Nicey nice.
The others I don't care about. Don't hate, didn't like either.

Temp, what I meant was, Raiden wasn't shown on the prison stage.

And, in the picture breakdown, you can see a pair of green pants and pale skin, obviously Quan.

I wouldnt it would only add to the playability factor if you ask me. But if they were in, I would bet my life on that they wouldnt be fully developed and would ahve hand-me down styles and moves.

The guy beside Drahmin? That's Fujin. Quan Chi isn't in the prison stage at all.

I think they're giving Raiden the same moves and styles, but changing the color of his special moves and his costume.

I tend to think those in the cells won't be playable now.

I think Jade may have been replaced in the cells since the months old pics (someone correct me if I am wrong and she is in the recent stuff).

The reason I think they won't be playable is more because of who isn't in them.

Jax, Kung Lao, Sektor, Nitara, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung and yes even Sonya, must be considered as good to very good chances now.

5. New Character (Dariou?)

I hope if Kung lao is in the game that they give him the exact mk2 outfit.Not like the one in mkda.Is it me or did it look like kung lao was wearing make up in mkda his face looked to rosey.

Reiko is not a Shang Tsung clone. Seriously, what do they have in common, nothing.

Fujin is not a Raiden clone either, only thing they have in common is being Gods. Though I do not like Fujin, so he can rot for all I care.

I thought the same thing!!! He looks like he has 5punds of make-up in his face. And I could swear in his 2nd costume his spikey bangs where dyed blond!!! (-is... ore of a sun-in effect)

they wouldnt really be "secret characters" because we know who they are. more like "unlockable character." reptile was a secret character in MK1. what i want out of a "secret" character is one none of us have heard of or seen before. if the secret characters are the ones we know about im gonna be pissed.

i wouldnt think are secret characters/unlockable characters would be the people in the prison stage. i think those people are there for show. u know like kano and sonya in mk 2!
