they should introduce a new shokan, someone in some way that is related to Goro and his family. like a cousin of some sort.
he shouldnt be as big as Goro and Kintaro, shouldnt be as strong them, and also he shouldnt be slow and having limited special moves with no fatalities. the new shokan should be smaller but also quicker and should not be limited to only a couple of moves. im thinkin of a four-armed version of shinobi (not looking anything like shinobi. im talkin about his speed and fighting styles).
sure, he's going to be a little weaker than Goro and his predecessors, but he would be a lot faster and more agile. basically, i would have a younger shokan to be put into the game. a new / younger shokan with a story that would go against noob that would also be connected to 2-3 other characters. he should have twin weapons like the one that chic "Gogo" had in "Kill Bill". your thoughts???

Goro was killed by a mystery assassin while his and Kitana's forces were winning against Shao Kahn's. It was later revealed that it was Noob Saibot who killed him.

The Kutan palace was in MKDA and there was no shokan. I hope thers not another shokan unless Kahns the boss. The DK look greats now he needs his own pretectors.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that we will see a new shokan or shokan like character.They are a staple of the MK mythos and one has appeared every game.They are the traditionally "Big Guys"

MK 1 & 4 = Goro
MK2 = Kintaro
MK3 = Motaro
MKDA = Moloch

So I'd say it's assured that we will get a character like that.
Noob Saibot killing Goro is new to me though.I can't wait to see Noob's role in MK:D

Even if a shokan is not a sub boss I think one should show up.

I think that Goro's brother Durac from the animated movie that he killed will be in it as rumored earlier this year; yet I doubt he'll be avenging Goro's Death cuz Goro killed him for the thrown!!!

of yea it wasnt gorback goros fater the name was durac i was looking for the name. yea goros brother. goro was gonna fall off a cliff and goro asked for help from durac and durac helped him and then durac slipped on the cliff cause goro made him fall and then durac said help me goro but goro made ihm fall off the cliff. HOW GRIMY!!!! i rather have goros father gorback be a playable fighter since he is the best shokan around and is even better then kintoro. but Durac isnt a sub boss just a regular playable fighter, so they had to balance him out like they did sheeva and durac is a small shokan so i guess he fit the imagae of a playable fighter that is a shokan since he is small. But i would like to see a shokan sub boss again some day, and i am sure if we get one it would be gorback the BIG BAD shokan!!!!! who makes kintoro look like a git.
yea in MKDA they said in konquest goro died by someone during the war, and kitana suddenly found out shao khan died so they stopped the war, but goro had died and she put ihm in the kutate palace(whatever u call that shokan place) it was in her MKDA ending. But in MK:TE(a MKDA gold i guess you can call it) it was for game boy advance, noob saibot was playable and it was said that he was the one who killed goro.

BTW guys REIKO is still ALIVE!!!!!!!! the prison stage, khan was the one who got stabbed by the DA it wasnt no decoy, and khan is still alive BUT, yea he got injured. anyway off subj again peace out.

Moloch isn't a Shokan, he's an Oni. I think it would be great to have a Shokan in MK Deception, probably look freakin awesome in 3D (not crappy graphics like in MK4) and will most likely be a lot of fun to play with.
