if not then MK is going to start the new wave for other fighting games.

no, there was a street fighter game that went online. the guy sais: the first fighting game ever online for xbox AND ps2.

Capcom Vs. SNK 2 has been online for a long time... More than likely DOA: Ultimate will also come out before Deception I believe.

Deception will end up being the first 3D online fighter. DOAU won't come out for another couple of weeks after Deception.

this game will be the most popular probably because it has more than 1 mode of online play. even if the fighting game does get boring you can always play puzzle or chess

Dead or Alive Ultimate will be the very first fully 3D online fighting game and MKD will follow closely behind that.
As of now, DOAU is scheduled for release at the end of September whereas MKD will be released early October.
2 great games...both at $55 (Collectors edition).

Acually i dont know if any of you remember but back when MK2 was out for SNES there was this thing called X-band i believe it was called it went into your phone wire i think that was the first online fighting game even though it sucked majorly lol

really, well i don't beleive any of the dreamcast online game were ever that popular.
all the Street fighter games are the same to me.
