Will the Dragon King be playable? Should he? Also, speculation on what characters you think will be in MK:D

Considering that every boss following UMK3 has been a playable character (All bosses in MKT, Shinnok in MK4 and Gold, and Shang Tsung/Quan Chi in MK:DA), do you think that Dragon King will be selectable? Do you think that he should be selectable at all?

Also, if you have any speculation on the characters that you think will be in MK:D, feel free to post it here.

My response: Part of me thinks he could be selectable. A hidden character, an alternate costume for Reptile (or vice versa) But probably not.

As for the characters I think will be returning to MK:D (the ones we haven't seen yet obviously)

Reptile

(he has to play into the Dragon King storyline somehow)

Mavado & Kano

(I think they'll continue this storyline, perhaps even bring back Kabal, as he's mentioned in Mavados storyline)

Shang Tsung & Quan Chi

(pretty much a no brainer, at least ONE of these guys, but perhaps not both will return)

All of these seem pretty obvious, so I'll go off the wall with my last one:

Fujin

With a character that looks somewhat "godly" and like a female Rayden, I have a feeling that the thunder god might not be in MK:D. If he's not, then perhaps Fujin will step in and take his place.

What do you think?

No i dont think the DK will be playable. Remember. Moloch is not playable in MKDA.....

Moloch wasn't playable in MK:DA.

I'm not sure if i want the Dragon King to be playable. I would love to play as him, But i miss the excitement i got from fighting Goro, Shang Tsung, Kintaro and Shao Kahn from the earlier MK games. And the sense of jealousy... I recently felt that with Moloch from MK:DA and it felt great.

Gravedigger, I honestly couldn't agree more.

As far as Moloch is concerned, I consider him to be a sub boss and not THE boss, but I definitely get what you guys are saying about him not being playable. I felt the same way; jealosy mixed with relief that he wasn't playable.

Any ideas on who else will return for MK:DA?

i dont think reptile will return. if his role is to play into the DK's storyline (become the dk) they could just argue that his ending came true in mkda - if they need to, an opening sequence at the start to confirm it.

and i hope the dk is NOT playable, maybe the subboss but with an extremely hard to find code.
