Will this be Reptile's last game?

Since Reptile is now the Dragon King and in past MK history, the bad guy loses, will this be Reptile's last appearence?

....OH SHIT!...Sorry, a cheesy ending just flashed before my eyes. I think something stupid like Reptile seperating from the Dragon King will happen, just to keep the character. Either that or the game series is coming to an end and almost everyone dies, so they'd have an excuse...

I can see it now, "With the destruction of the Dragon King, the body that his spirit had once occupied had been set free of his spell. The Zaterrian warrior known as Reptile will live to fight another day." Although the ending is gay, I would hate to see reptile go.

It doesn't matter to me much rather Reptile stays or goes... I would prefer him stay though... I am more worrited on what if they take Scorpion out... I don't want that to happen at all. ^_^

Reptile is not the Dragon king the Dragon in the egg is the drogon king Reptile is just a servent of the Dragon king.
I think the Dragon King should survive and that there should be another game based on an alliance between the Dragon King and Shao Kahn, the Dragon King and Shinnok, or all three of them should form an alliance to conquer the realms.

Mister Satan has a good point. The Dragon King is the baddest and most powerful of the bad. In fact his army is UNBEATABLE. I think it would be awesome if Midway lets the DK win. Then MK7 could have a liberation type storyline.

All of this does beg the question though:

How was the Dragon King and his unbeatable army beaten the first time around?

who's to say that he was a immortal being?

I am still yet to see this 'confirmation' that the DK is Reptile?!?

That last fight night certainly didn't 'confirm' it! You people are still speculating...

I believe the ONLY thing that has been 'CONFIRMED' is that MK6 will be online..

Please post the link to where Midway have confirmed this DK/Reptile rumour!!

as i explained in another thread..he was the ruler of outworld..the first ruler actually

since outworld is a collection of realms..he must have conquered them...sounds like a bad thing to do, plus raiden seems so scared when he mentions the DK or the army..plus the DK looks freaking creepy

There would be no point to the Dragon King's character if he was a good guy. Why would his army be so menacing? Why would Raiden fear him? Why wouldn't his return be welcomed and/or facilitated earlier?

He is a bad character and he's being hyped up to be THE bad character of the entire series. All signs point clearly in that direction.

How do you conquer a realm peacefully?
I think a cool ending would be if the Dragon King and Shao Kahn fought each other and fell into the inner sanctuary, just like with Drahmin and Quan Chi, and merged together forming the ultimate boss with all the powers of the dragon King and Shao Kahn.

that does sound neat...but i bet we havent seen the last of kahn either. i look for liu kang to make an "appearence" as well...

also. lets say that earthrealm looses mk6. (thay can afford to loose once..i mean c'mon, the rules say you have to win 10 in a row...but, they may break the rules)since earth looses, the story will say something like "..with out liu kang its hopeless"..so, im wondering who will step up and become earths new champiom. perhaps lui's brother? or someone else?

Well, Reptile IS the dragon king, right? I mean, just because he has become the Dragon King(a title, not an actual name), doesn't mean that's what it will say on the life bar. I always thought that the only change in Rep was physical, and that in mind he was either crazy or himself. If that's the case, Reptile will live on as the dragon king. It didn't say "The Emperor" for Kahn or "The fallen god" for shinnock or even "the Sorceror" For Tsung on the life bar, so it probably won't say "the dragon king" for Reptile. But We'll see what happens.

If Reptile stays in that reptilian form I hope it is his last game. The ninja form of Reptile was alot better.
