Would anyone, other than myself, like to see the return of the Endurance Matches?
WOW! Thanks everyone, for all of the positive feedback! I was positive this idea was gonna be shot down, but it turns out many of you feel the same way.
BTW: KingKabal88, Ko-jah, and Ty - GREAT ideas! Thanks for contributing!
Dan: LOL! YOU are positively EVIL!

Hell yeah, having more than two fighters could be cool. Eventually, if the gamelay mechanics permitted, MK could become more like def jam vendetta with four player simultaneous play.

It'd be sweet to have endurance matches back. It'd be another challenge. MK:DA was too easy, even when I put the difficulty up.

I would have to agree here and say that MKDA was a little on the easy side. Returning the Endurance matches would definitely do something to help this. Especially if you have to fight both opponents at the same time. I'm sure we'll see them again sooner or later. It's probably unlikely for Deception..but there's hope for MK7 I think.
I would like to see them too. Because MK VII will be for next-gen systems, I think they should bring them back, with some cool ass features. They should be right before the bosses, of course, but in special arenas (somewhat dark areas with torches lighting everything up or something). The 2(3) people that you have to fight should be watching, too, with possibly some interference. I don't know, just a thought.
Peace.
Peace.

That was an incredible idea!, i loved Endurance Matches cause they made you really demosntrate how tough you are, how good your skills are, that'd be a great idea in my opinion, specially if you get to fight the deadly alliance but.at the same time!!!! that'd rock

Absolutely, if they were to return they'd have to evolve to include 2 on 1 fighting at the same time. I think that's the best way to go.
boon listened to our ideas for this installment so if he isnt planning to surprise us with a 2v1 endurance this time round then we should definitely put this idea on the first page of the mk7 wishlist
btw the endurance MODES from mk4 could also be used as a challenging way to unlock characters.

Wow, I hadn't thought of that! That's a great idea. A fun, yet challenging way to unlock characters. Very nice indeed!
Ah...omg....I think they were Ok.
I think they could return but be controlled a bit better. I could only win those matches with a boss from MKT or Sonya.
Those matches could be very difficult if you dont have an specific powerful character. I bet that most people won the endurance by using: Motaro, Kahn, Goro or Kintaro.
Good idea though. Brings back classic memories.

LOL That would be the exact reason for bringing them back Queve..the challenge they bring. Also, you don't need a strong character to defeat endurance rounds, any character one is skilled with and knows well can defeat them. And yes, it would bring back lots of memories..some frustrating I would think!

I'd love to see the Endurance matches come back. I know that it can't be done like in MK4 (on the home versions, you could choose two characters and have the entire battle-plan two-on-two), but if it could in the next one, I'd enjoy that too.

Yeah, I think you did. Oh well, we'll just call it "over excitment" at the prospect of Enudrance matches returning.
Yeah, i was thinking the same idea.
My theory is that instead of there being a sub-boss, there will be an endurance match where you have to fight three of the revived Dragon soldiers, possibly the last one being Li Mei. *sigh* so many possibilities, but all we can do is wait...

Wow..I like that idea too! There have been lots of good ideas about different ways to go about the Enurance Matches...I hope they are seen and taken under advisment by the MK team. Who knows, maybe we'll see something like this for MK7.
