No. Liu Kang is dead, and should stay dead. If they brought him back it would just be stupid.

i don't see why not. it's not like midway cares about it's fans. (not boon, but midway, midway always has the final say.)

Maybe Kano have a couple of his moves. Or you could morph into him.

Maybe if u him kano a certain way, he flash into liu kang for a moment.

Or one of kano's fatalities would be to morph into liu kang and do it liek that.

I would not want that at all! It would feel weird controlling Kang in Kanos body. At least with Shangs morph you turned into the opponent! It could help the storyline as the Earth warriors wouldn't think he was Kang and would kill him or Quan could use Kang to do his dirty work in order for Quan to restore his body or something.

That said, I'd prefer Kang to stay dead and Kano if he is in the game to be himself and not possessed!

To make Kano seem realistic being Liu Kang as well, I think they should pick certain (not all moves from each character) Leave him with his laser fatality, since more optional characters can use his heart rip fatality like Nitara, or Sindel. Give him Liu Kang's dragon fatality revised: Kano dissapears like Liu Kang did his Toasty Fatality, except the opponent begins to scream and grab their stomach and puke blood, as a dragon burst from their chest and bites their head off. Give him his knives as weapons. (I could see Kano doing a flying kick and a better bicylce kick without all the annoying noises Liu Kang would make)

They brought Cage back, and you're still playing it. Bring Liu back, I don't care. They can just say that he was resirected with the DK, like in the Matrix Movies, or the Passion of Christ. It could work.......... I Think...... Ya it could.

IMO liu kang returning as kano would be even worst than mokap returning as stryker.

Killing off Liu kang was a good move in the story... they did it with cage.. and that was good... but unlike cage they need to keep him dead this time.. we don't need the main earth fighters dying and returning somehow everytime or theres just not going to be any significance when you kill someone off... no higher threat because they lost a key factor to their force.. because oh wait don't worry they'll be back real soon... as far as im concerned the only person returing from the dead should be scorpion.. since he is already dead... oh well... point is if he does come back i dont' really want him to be in kano's body... but i guess it's better then just reviving liu the same as before... dunno they just better leave him dead where he belongs....

What he said. Liu Should stay gone. I mean I don't hate Liu or anything, but...oh what the hell? they brought back Cage didn't they? It should not happen, but the odds of Liu returning AT SOME POINT are probably pretty good. The fact is no one stays dead in MK for very long. He should stay dead though. His death in the opening of MKDA was shocking, I'm sure there were more than a few Liu fans that just stared at the screen and later had to pick their jaw up off the floor. Like it or not Liu Kang's death had an impact on MK. If they bring him back that will mean nothing and it will be stupid.

my opinion, No Way....it's just ridiculous,the ending from Kano in MK:DA was crap.i like kano as a character,but mixing him with liu kang is ridiculous as hell.Liu Kang should remain dead forever,but there's always the Liu Kang fanboys that want him back.for me he's not a cool character,as many says, a Bruce Lee Totally Rip Off.he's been in almost every MK game,from MK to MK4,it was good to see him for last time (i really hope so!!!!)....
