Would you prefer MK to be more realistic or more unrealistically gory?

I'm just glad MK is a lot more realistic than in the past. I think MK these days has just the right amount of fantasy and reality.

I like MK with the Extensive gore that it's had since the beginnin'.

I believe it would be more gruesome the more realistic it is. I think someone walking up to a defeated foe and either snapping their neck, or cutting their head in half would be much more discusting than what we see in MK. It adds a sense of realism and that is what makes it more frightening when u see it. But Boon loves the outlandish fatalities, so it will never change.
Jade's new one looks cool though...

No, no, no! Remember the originals? You did an uppercut, and the blood flowed like a fire-house! That's what MK:D should be like! Like Bo's puke puddle, the blood should run so much that you slip and slide around on it! Ha ha ha ha! There's always more gore in store!

I'm a fan of realisim so I'd prefer more realistic and visceral violence. It gives it more of an impact, well, for me anyway.
I became a fan of Mortal Kombat because of the idea of being able to use fighters that each had their own special powers that we use as special moves. I like being able to throw fireballs, freeze people, teleport, etc. Games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter are, IMO, made for people to lazy or scared to learn an actual martial art and spar. You can't accuse me of being to lazy to learn how to use my power over electricity for obvious reasons. I for one don't care if the hit detection is perfect or if juggle combos stop after the third pop-up. People complain about realism saying you should only need to use one pop-up and that you should be able to string seven hits after that before the opponent even hits the ground. I've been in and seen many fights before and I've never seen anybody hit someone into the air and then land seven more hits before the other person hit the deck. This is Mortal Kombat and it became famous for being gory and having the mystic atmosphere. If that's not what you want, play a different game and leave the people that do want what MK has to offer.
P.S.-Combo breakers, boo frickin' hoo!!!

LMAO
Yeah, I'm totally agree...
